DVDizzy.com Presents Teddy Ruxpin DVD Giveaway
![]() | Teddy Ruxpin was one of many popular new toys that became an animated television series in the 1980s. In 1987, two years after making a retail splash, Teddy got his own syndicated TV show in DiC's "The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin". Among the good guys, Teddy the illiop was joined by Grubby the octopede and absent-minded scientist Newton Gimmick. Villains included Tweeg, the sarcastic L.B. (Lead Bounder), and supreme oppresor Quellor. The serialized series would run for a standard 65 episodes and included "Protect Yourself" tips for youngsters delivered by '80s child actors. We're excited to offer you a chance to win The Six Crystals, a 2-disc DVD set holding the first 20 episodes of the series. And, the randomly-chosen winner is Twitter follower SWREnt. Congratulations on your sweet tweet victory! To those who entered and didn't win, there were less than 50 of you, so keep your eyes open, because odds are you'll win a different giveaway from us before long.
