Chicken Little Info!!

Post by IggieKuzco »

Things are looking good for Chicken Little.... and gives reason as to why there most likely The Emperors Newer Groove is just a rumor.

First of all.... it's going to be a complete CGI (computer generated) film (cool, huh? computer generated chickens! :D )

second of all... it is going to be directed by Mark Dindal and produced by Randy Fullmer. the two guys that put together The Emperors New Groove. So that basically rules out (for now) there being a sequel to TENG because CL is being plan for 2005. of course, if CL succeeds, then who knows, maybe Dindal and Fulmer will get back 2gether for a TENG sequel. But I personally think that if they succeed, they wont start trying to redo old movies because they'll see that they're doing so well and that their carriers are blossoming and they'll take on new projects. so either way, i doubt The Emperors Newer Groove will be released.

and third.... it looks like its not going to actually be exactly the original story! it starts off with the whole "the sky is falling" bit, where chicken little manages to destroy practically her whole town. After doing this, she gets sent off to camp YES-U-CAN where meets all kinds of people... (ex: the ugly duckling) and she finds out the counslers have an evil plan and she, chicken little, tries to foil it.

could be cute. could be dumb. reminds me a little of chicken run. (chickens, evil plans.... get my drift?)

Anyway.... if anyone has mor info..... POST! :ears:

Except for the "...completely CGI. Cool, huh?" bit, thanks for the info!

Hint: Read around to find out our feelings on future CG movies.

Believe me, i hear ya man!

I'm one of the big disney CGI haters (read around and you'll find out some of my feelings!)

What i meant when i said "cool, huh?" - that it would be cool to see a movie with CGI chickens and it also would be cool because disney would be doing CGI animals! i know.... there was Finding Nemo... But that doesn't count! I mean cooooooome oooooooon! they're just abunch of goddam fish!

Dont get me wrong though.... im a big Nemo fan.

Erg, that didn't make any sense. I think you just contradicted yourself.

Anyways, don't rule out an ENG sequel. Have any of the DTV sequels so far had the same directors as the originals?

Well, if you do your research, you'll see that the original creators don't have to be the creators of the sequel.

Granted, there's not much history of sequels to recent films (Stitch! doesn't count, neither does Tarzan and Jane or Atlantis II as they're tv series). And to be fair Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders are both involved with the proper Lilo and Stitch movie.

But the creators of Tarzan and Mulan don't seem to be involved in their sequels (but one of the Tarzan directors had a hand in the television series).

Although by some accounts, it's going to be Computer Generated Chickens that look handdrawn. So it shouldn't really affect the look of the film.

Maybe when we find out why the sky is falling we will finally know the answer to: Which came first the chicken or the egg. I can see Disney doing a spoof on this question.

you never know. Disney has been trying to reach the older population too with it's movies. I can see them doing something like this. Pixar has already done a joke about ebay

There's an eBay joke in Santa Clause 2 too, which I thought was funny.

At least Disney doesn't pull a Men in Black II and have their characters buy their weapons on eBay. Sony... The same studio that wanted to change a Times Square bulletin to feature the Sony name in Spider-man, has the kid from Stuart Little 2 mentioning his Playstation 2, and has all Sony electronics products in Panic Room. I'm getting way off-topic here. Disregard. :brick:

That's okay Luke. Thanks for the info about Santa Clause 2 because I haven't seen that yet. Will have to watch out for the ebay joke.

Jeez, Sony IS the king of all product placement. S.W.A.T. was blatantly full of it, too - they actually had conversations revolving around Dr. Pepper and McDonalds.

Dr Pepper! I love Dr Pepper. It was born in the same town as Baylor University. The locals a long time ago when into the old fountain stores and used to say "shoot me a Waco"

just a tidbit of info.

PS Dr Pepper doesn't have a period after Dr

another tidbit of info

After I read this, I had to make sure it was poco and not a living advertisement. :P
