http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/ ... -next.htmlMTV Geek's "Geek Spy" is reporting that top level executives at Walt Disney Company and Hasbro are currently in talks for Disney to acquire Hasbro. Coming only a week after news that Disney had purchased Lucasfilm, and with it the rights to Star Wars, a Hasbro acquisition would give Disney the rights to G.I. Joe, Transformers, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, and numerous other properties, though some properties, like G.I. Joe, have movie rights tied up at Paramount.

Ok, now Disney is REALLY freaking me out here. They might as buy the world while they're buying every single kids thing in the world. Period.
They’re REALLY desperate now! I mean they’re going to own like EVERY KIDS THING IN AMERICA! They might as well buy Apple while they’re at it.
This also shows that Disney is LOSING their originality by making money out of non-Disney things. Like they’re going to make movies and TV shows out of them. Really, why can they be who they were in the 90s?!
WHAT’S NEXT? Avatar?! (Wait for it…)

And somehow, they still gave up on Ghibli movies.disneyprincess11 wrote:Ok, now Disney is REALLY freaking me out here. They might as buy the world while they're buying every single kids thing in the world. Period.

That's more about your post. But I agree, wayyyy too much. We dont need them to be involved in Transformers. and it also puts them a little too close to the Hub which I've enjoyed watching every now and then.

And again, my view:

Do you know what independent company I would like to see stay that way? LEGO. They don't need a big corporation buying them.
