Disney's classic "Alice in Wonderland" for region

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can tell me if there (soon) will be a release of the 'Unbirthday special edition' for region 2 of Alice in Wonderland following the one recently released for USA and Canada. Though I can play a region 1 code dvd at home, I prefer a region 2 DVD if available because that's easier to share. :)

Normally, if there were plans, they would be up for pre-order on amazon.co.uk by now. I've been checking everyday, and as far as I am aware, there are no plans for this edition to come out in R2. Which is such a huge shame :(

We only had a one disc special edition when R1 had the Masterpiece Edition, then we miss out on this rerelease all together, when the movie is so popular over here !

Unless they will release it when Burton's version is out on DVD as well ? But normally it would still be up for preorder by now though .....
