Actually in some adaptions the Snow Queen is sometimes an AntiVillain.
Wow, Disney is THIS SECRETIVE, so they have to draw a Illustrator picture?
This also pretty much confirms that the designs we see in "the fake posters" may be their final designs.
I mean look:
SAME EXACT THING. She even has the same sleeves in the recent picture if you look carefully!
Also, I'm guessing since the article mentioned that just the 2 princesses from Frozen (and Merida) are going to be added to the lineup, I'm taking that: Vanellope will not be added.
Well, I for one am glad that Disney is finally showing purple people the respect they deserve and has honored us all with their first lavender princess. It's the 21st century, yay for progress!

The rotoscopers said that the poster is the exact design of what they saw when they were looking at the concept art and someone must have gotten a hold of the character, the background however isn't real and the character design wasn't fully finalized.
Good Sotiris! I like Elsa design. it's original. It reminds me old Sleeping Beauty concept art.
Sotiris, Excuse me because I haven't reply to your private message, but I can't send private messages... I'm sorry! I can read private messages but I can't write... I don't know what is my problem.
No, Elsa obviously is not supposed to represent the Snow Queen from Andersen. If you have to compare it to the source material, she is tang the role of Kai as the one who gets into trouble and has to be rescued.

It's fine. It's not your fault. There is a glitch with the forum software which may have affected PM function for some members. In any case, it doesn't matter anymore. I found what I was looking for.

I'm really growing fond of Elsa's design. Disney is actually showing little girls that queens=/=old evil ladies for once.
It's nice to stray from the traditional formula, as well as to see a misunderstood antagonist who really isn't evil (or at least that's what Elsa seems to be).

I suppose it's for the best. Considering how uninteresting the witch from the Rapunzel tale turned out, they'd probably have screwed up the Snow Queen, too.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
I never thought Elsa was the villain (since Disney gave us the synopsis).
Since I know there's a military character named Hans, I believe he's the villain.
I'll write my thoughts on the plot in spoiler, in case someone don't want to read it: Anna and Elsa are sisters (OK), and the movie seems to start at Anna's coronation ceremony, so I believe her parents died, or somehow they disappeared to let the kingdom in a need of a king/queen presence.
Maybe Hans was very close to the king / queen, and he doesn't want Elsa to be Queen, he wants to rule the kingdom. So, maybe at the final part of the movie, Hans gets the "crown" and the prophecy of the person with a cold heart comes reality.
Maybe even Hans always knew Elsa's secret powers and use that on his own good.
What do you guys think?
Sounds like the sort of thing they would do. Really, it could just be confirmation bias working against me, but I'd be shocked at this point if Hans doesn't turn out to be the villain.
OMG ! Breaking news ! Read this http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Elsa's_Ice_Castle It´s Good coz it deals with that blasted mirror, but i find it a bit fake-like and confused. Too many news at the same time, where does it come from ???
