I’m a Capricorn (or I used to be before they changed the dates--but I’m not changing!) and an Earth Dragon (Chinese Zodiak). I mostly don’t take these things seriously, but I do enjoy reading them occasionally.
Strangely, I like buying teapots, hourglasses, and
Aladdin-esque lamps.
Winter is my favorite season--though I prefer anything over Summer.
I'm an article editor (unpaid) at Kingdom Hearts Ultimania.
You might already know I'm an Agnostic Christian. Politically, I've always considered myself somewhat moderate, with liberal leanings of course (especially where it concerns human rights).
I used to play Trumpet in band when I was in Middle School. I had thought the band looked cool and asked my parents. Unfortunately, I never could catch on and I wanted to quit--but I had to wait several years because my parents paid a lot for that trumpet. :: In high school, I started taking piano lessons and it was easy for me to learn. ß That’s all strange because the Trumpet has three buttons and the piano has…how many keys?
I'm about to begin my last year of college for English with high school licensure. Student teaching is approaching...*afraid*
I have a dark/ironic humor, and sometimes make jokes that often come across harsher than they‘re meant.

I had a Disney Villain club in elementary school. Didn’t really last long. I was Ursula--of course. Had several other people who were Cruella, Medusa, Jafar, Scar and Hades. My trick question for people to get in was: “What’s Cinderella’s Stepmother’s name?” A: Lady Tremaine. Because most average people wouldn’t know that… It was all very bizarre.

I used to really want to do that when I was younger, and I would have except for two things: 1. The nearest college to me that offers an animation degree is a state away, 2. The fact that 2D is practically dying out in the US.
I always dreamed of doing work at Disney, but they don't do 2D anymore and I just don't care about 3D in that way. I thought about doing video game design for a while, but entertainment-related jobs are so uncertain. You might just waste your life away and end up nowhere. So I went with teaching English, so I could write in my spare time and read for the job. Plus, I love investing myself into helping others learn (main reason I want to be a parent), so teaching seemed to work for me. I might’ve went with nursing or veterinary work, but I can’t hold people/animals down when things need to happen because I‘m too empathetic (like a shot, or something like that).

I had to read that in 10th Grade (our class was split into groups with different books for each). Reading that was all sorts of hell. I had to use a dictionary every other word.
That said, it wasn't that bad, if it hadn't murdered my will to live for a few weeks.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, too. That's why you'll see these super-long list posts where all the numbers have to be perfectly bolded, titles italicized, etc. Or would that be considered anal-retentive?
