How to prove what the colours looked like originally

Post by Wonderlicious »

Good news guys! If you wanna see for yourselves exactly what Snow White, Pinocchio, Cinderella etc looked like when they all first came out, then now's your chance. I recently managed to buy a cheap time-machine and after I go back to the 1930s to warn everybody about Hitler, I'm gonna rent it out for any Disney fans who want to use it for their own puristic purposes.

Um, first we have to determine who amongst us has the purest eyesight. I'm not sending someone back in time who has shoddy eyesight. They with perfect vision shall be the saviour of the forums. I have prophesied this ages ago, and now it is finally come to be! It's going exactly as the Tome of Brendan said it would.

Um, no. We don't joke about things like this on UD.

But seriously, make with the time machine. I have a theory that Disney originally wanted Pinocchio's shorts to be Firey Fuschia, and I'm hoping that whoever goes to the premiere will confirm this.

Also, the flame was meant to be olive green.

The Blu-Ray of The French Connection is an excellent example of how revisionism has gone terribly wrong. I can understand that a director wants to 'update' the color scheme of his films, but at least give the fans the original version of the film.
And it's not just us, even the film's cinematographer is complaining about how the film looks.

And Friedkin is also currently working on The Exorcist, so that shouldn't look good as well. I hope Warner Bros. will give us both versions.

i know for a fact you dont have a time machine as the fella who sold me one said it was the only one in existance. also i have gone back to before email was invented & am now stuck there, so i am not sure if you will get this message. should you get a real machine could you come back here & save me/get stuck too & update me on what walt done umpteen years from now( my time) i now am unsure if i am coming goinng been or gone & my head hurts so am going for a lie down. if you get this, it may take years to reach you in which case i will be 6 feet under. so perhaps no need to reply, so no point in me sending you this, so i wont.

But, if you had the time machine (A.) in the now, and went to the notnow with it, at some point time will double on itself and there will be two time machines (A. & B.) existing at the same point in the now. Since they are identical, there is now way of knowing which is (A.) and which is (B.) so then two people could take them back into the notnow. Of course, that would cause another doubling of time, and there will be 4 machines in the now (A. B. C. and D.)

Soon, there will be X²(Y³+X)±Y² time machines, enough for every man, woman, and child on earth. Of course, by that time, every person will be stranded in the notnow, since the machines need operators.

Depending on what notnow the machines are set for, everyone should be in the same notnow, at the same spot on earth that they originally left from. Of course, since the machines are identical, they should all be set with the same coordinates, barring some minor allowable slippage, on the order of 0.00003%. Those few unfortunates will either materialize in solid rock, or be flung off into space, there to forever drift among the stars.

Now, if my calculations are correct, all buildings, roads, man-made objects, and even animals and objects that any person has interacted with should be caught in the residual tachyon field, and they will spontaneously leave the now, and appear in the notnow at the exact moment when the first voyager arrived. I believe the records show that inteprid explorer's name to be waltmad (possibly an alias.)

Due to the tachyon field created by billions of time machines and the "Möbius strip" nature of time travel itself, all persons who used the time machines will seem to depart the now at the exact same time, and reappear in the notnow. Also, since they have been told time travel is logically impossible, the great majority of them will repress all memories of having travelled in time, and assume that the notnow is actually the now, especially since everything will appear the same.

Of course, that begs the question of what about the people who live naturally in the notnow. It appears that the tachyon field from all of the arriving time machines and the displacement of all objects and people, that those natural-born people in the notnow will then be displaced further down the notnow. This will keep happening for several time periods, but the displacements will keep getting closer in time than before, until the two periods of notnow are virtually indistinguishable, say mere seconds apart.

Since this period in the now has the most humanity of all previous periods, the largest effect will be noticable from the initial group, and of course, that is the only group that is actively using the time machines. During the last stages of displacement, there will only be thousands of people on the earth, so the displacement effects will be negligible.

Unfortunately, the fair city of Atlantis will be lost to time, I fear. While this is regrettable, especially since I vacationed there two summers ago, there doesn't appear to be a way to save that city AND the rest of the world. In a way, this is ironic, since it was the Atlanteans that created the time machine in the first place. People from the now who have been transported back to the notnow will forget that Atlantis was ever a part of the now, and the city will be reduced to myth of long ago.

Watch star trek much?
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9. 2 Timothy ch2 v 19, “ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness”.

Wouldn't do me much good to go back in time; since my vision's so horrible I probably couldn't tell the difference anyway. :D
