Packaged inside an exclusive, plastic molded collectible "party van" that passionate fans will be sure to want, you'll get all 10 seasons (including all the same on-disc bonus content found in the previous individual releases) at a cost of $99.98 SRP.

I think I'll pass. I just got season 10 in the mail yesterday (I can't believe it took them 8 years to release the whole series! ) and seeing how there's nothing new in the set, there's really no reason for me to buy this. The packaging is kind of cool, but as my DVD / Blu-ray collection grows, I'm trying to stay away from the more "ridiculous" packaging and go more for practicality (if I had known they were going to release season 7 as one set, I would've waited on buying the four individual releases >_> lol).
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Okay, we now have a complete set to end those that didn't want to be bothered with buying the confusing season sets. Good move, Lionsgate.

That is awesome!!! Ugh. So annoyed. If I wasn't only 3 seasons away from completing it, I'd consider getting it. But... I'm only 3 seasons away from completing the series lol

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ('87) season 3 is available now

Post by rexcrk »

When they were originally releasing the original cartoon on DVD they decided to release season 3 as four separate volumes (volumes 3-6), but now it's available in one set:

Fantastic price too. And I love the cover! Brings me back to the old VHS days :P I'm considering getting it even though I have the previous releases, just to save some shelf space.

The DVDs take up a surprising amount of space on the shelf, between season 3 being released in four volumes, season 4 being released in an unnecessarily thick case, the thick season 5 case (although I admit the pizza box theme is kinda cool :3), and season 7 being released as four separate volumes (though if I had known they were going to release it as one set so shortly after I would've waited).

I'd love to know why they discontinued the Complete Series set so shortly after it was released. Not that it really mattered to me, as I had been buying every release as they came out, but it just seems odd.

I had seen one recently (like a month or so ago I think) which I think had been after it was discontinued. Maybe I should've bought it to resell on eBay?
