That box set is really really lovely. Can Disney Japan design all cover art?
Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2015
You should see Japan's diamond edition line, they are hideous. The standard releases tho

MovieNEX is what Disney Japan calls their home video package of Blu-ray+DVD+digital copy+online bonus content.Wonderlicious wrote:My question, though, is what MovieNEX is...

The grey isn't even shiny. Cinderella did come with an alternative slick however.
In Australia Pinocchio was actually the first blu-ray to be rereleased.

According to Jerry Beck, The Black Cauldron is going to be screened at El Capitan during October.
Does that mean that a restoration/Blu release is finally coming close? And I apologize if you can't see this if you're not a part of Beck's Cartoon Research FB page.

yeah, i have to say i am a bit surprised that it is the middle of july and we have had no word on any fall releases...nothing except the "Shorts" collection......are we to assume that the package films and "Cauldron" are getting the shaft?

Tonight I discovered The Three Caballeros Collection seems to be out of print. It is no longer carried by amazon and the Disney Store. All this suggests we should see a bluray before long.

I'd say there's a good chance. That artwork is currently featured on Eric Heintz's website (he does a lot of the artwork for Disney's home releases).Mickeyfan1990 wrote:Oh please tell me that's the real deal!

I'm not a big fan of Goofy's look here, but the Caballeros look fantastic.
It seems like the rumor is that we'll get this, along with The Black Cauldron and A Goofy Movie (or maybe another double feature for that?) will come out in September. I sure hope so.

I can't imagine they'd wait until after Halloween to release The Black Cauldron if they were going to this year. My guess October for that one and the 4 package features in September.
Hopefully we'll get some news this week since it's now August.

I can't seem to find any info on it, but can anyone tell me if we are getting a rerelease of the Aladdin sequels alongside the Diamond Edition?
Re: Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2015
I think a pre-order link was revealed for them in another country, so people assumed that they would release them on blu-ray.lord-of-sith wrote:I can't seem to find any info on it, but can anyone tell me if we are getting a rerelease of the Aladdin sequels alongside the Diamond Edition?
