I remember he chose Tangled as one of his top ten movies of 2010, so I'm not totally surprised he said that.

Tarantino is cancelled lol. But in all seriousness, it's strange that he brought this discussion up years later.

Just a thought I had about how Tangled has become this generation's Aladdin. Both were comedy musicals and both had a successful series where the first and last episodes are basically feature length films.

Yes, a lot of people talk about Rapunzel being locked in her town, which is similar to the situation we face now.

Too bad Rapunzel never even remotely feels like a character who has been locked up her whole life.

^ That was amazing! (I subscribe to that YouTube channel but never saw that performance!) Donna Murphy was amazing as Gothel, but Susan would have been, too!!!

I think I may have liked Susan Egan more in the role. :P If she was that good while she was trying get laughs out of the audience, she would have sounded even greater in the singing booth.

The funny thing is that Donna Murphy actually auditioned for Meg as well. So it's a full circle to have Susan Egan singing Murphy's song.

Wow, really? I didn’t know that. No offense to Murphy, but I’m really glad that didn’t happen.

Steve Hulett wrote:What started as a hand-drawn feature soon morphed into a CGI feature.
