Even though I agree that it stinks that "Get a Horse" did not win the Best Animated Short Oscar, it's not wise to jump to conclusions, Wade--don't assume Disney will stop 2D shorts just because one of their entries didn't win.TsWade2 wrote:BAD NEWS! Ugh! That's not far! That's not fair! Now how is Disney going to continue hand drawn that Get A Horse didn't win? Screw you, Oscar voters! Screw you!
Sorry, but this how I feel right now.disneyphilip wrote:Even though I agree that it stinks that "Get a Horse" did not win the Best Animated Short Oscar, it's not wise to jump to conclusions, Wade--don't assume Disney will stop 2D shorts just because one of their entries didn't win.TsWade2 wrote:BAD NEWS! And your video responses are still totally unnecessary.

Fine. I fixed it. But I'm still not happy!disneyphilip wrote:

I just want Mickey Mouse to win. He never gets the Oscar since Lend the Paw. It's like Mickey's Christmas Carol and Runaway Brain all over again. The Oscar voters are anti-Mickey Mouse jerks. Also, I don't give a damn about Mr. Hublot.Victurtle wrote:Not fair? How is it not fair?
Explain why the winner should be disqualified.
Never!DancingCrab wrote:TsWade2, Get over it.
Oh please!Having seen the nominees, Mr. Hublot was very deserving and more in line with Academy tastes.
Though I personally liked get a horse better, the part about academy tastes rings true.TsWade2 wrote:Never!DancingCrab wrote:TsWade2, Get over it.

Yeah, for being a bunch of arrogant anti-Mickey Mouse snobs!ajmrowland wrote:Though I personally liked get a horse better, the part about academy tastes rings true.TsWade2 wrote: Never!

Avaitor wrote:This isn't too surprising, tbh. In recent years, the Academy has shown little enthusiasm for theatrical shorts starring established characters. The fact that "Get a Horse!" was even nominated is kind of a big deal.
Just like "Runaway Brain" in '95.TsWade2 wrote:BAD NEWS! Get A Horse didn't win the Oscar!

Mickey has an Oscar for "Lend A Paw". Even Bugs Bunny has only won 1 Oscar.TsWade2 wrote:That's exactly my point.DisneyEra wrote: Just like "Runaway Brain" in '95.
Mickey Mouse is always the Oscar loser.
Really?DisneyEra wrote:

Yeah and that was decades ago for either. The 40s even. The academy aren't anti mickey/Maggie/bugs as much as giving recognition to those who have noneTsWade2 wrote:Really?DisneyEra wrote:
