Well, if you ever get bored and feel like doing a high-res version, please submit it (somewhere!). I've never seen FernGully, and one of the reasons I haven't picked it up for $5 at Target yet is its gross cover. Now, if it looked like your version, I'd buy it right away.enigmawing wrote:Thanks guys! It's low-res though (my "original" is the same size as the DVD art posted by Sotiris) and I'm not even sure who I'd send it to? I imagine the production is too far along at this point to change anyway . . . I just like doing these little "what-ifs" for fun.
EDIT: I forgot to say, I love, love, LOVE your avatar (and signature)! It makes me happy.
FernGully: The Last Rainforest and Thumbelina will be released on Blu-ray tomorrow 3/6/12 and are available for pre-order on JR.com for $9.99 each.
You'll have to order something for $5.01 or more to get free shipping (over $25), but I thought this was a pretty good deal for these two. They are both currently $15.99 at Amazon and if past releases are any indicator, this might be the cheapest they are for a while. The Secret of NIMH and All Dogs Go to Heaven were both released almost a year ago and have only ever dropped to $9.99 and $8.99 respectively.

Re: FernGully: The Last Rainforest on Blu-ray
I had been wondering if Disney owned this now or not.
Listening to most often lately:
Ariana Grande ~ "we can't be friends (wait for your love)"
Ariana Grande ~ "imperfect for you"
Kacey Musgraves ~ "The Architect"

I ... think they do.Disney's Divinity wrote:I had been wondering if Disney owned this now or not.
I'm guessing Shout has secured home video rights. Haven't yet read Sotiris' article though!
