RuPaul's Drag Race

Post by Christopher_TCUIH »

Hello everyone :D My name is Christopher! I just started using this website so I don't know if anyone has posted this already, but does anyone watch RuPaul's Drag Race? It's on the Logo channel. I think that show is off the charts entertaining :P Anyone else think so?

Hi, Christopher!
I love RuPaul's Drag Race and have been a fan since season 2.
Last Monday's episode "Jocks In Frocks" was great and the Untucked that followed it was even better!
I'm rooting for Yara Sofia!
Esa chica esta LOCA!
Can I get an AMEN?

I adore Rupaul's Drag Race. It's my absolute favorite reality show ever.

This week's "Lip-Synch for Your Life" between Raja and Carmen has to be the best one yet. I thought I was going to die laughing. I also loved how shocked Sharon Osbourne looked; you figure Ozzy Osbourne's wife would have seen it all.

I have to say I'm rooting for Raja, but I'd be glad if Yara Sofia wins. I like Alexis, but I don't know how she made the final four. And Manilla just doesn't impress me much; I can't stand how you always see the wig lines whenever she has her make-up on.

Hey guys! Oh yeah I love Yara! I know her english is terrible but if anything that makes me like her more! I think the top 3 should be Manila, Raja, & Yara. I feel like Alexis does the same thing over & over and the judges kind have caught on! I do like Alexis though but as 4th Life of Thomasina kind of hinted she doesn't read as final 4.

ps Manila's wig line is distracting!!

Shangela could be funny and certainly brought the drama, but she was way too unpolished. Her wigs were always atrocious and I hated her outfits.

Overall, I have to say that season 2 had a better cast. There were just more great performers overall (Pandora Boxx, Jessica Wild, Jujubee, Raven). I still don't know how in the hell "the other Tyra" won.

The other Tyra's win dismayed me too in season 2! I adored Jujubee and Pandora Boxx and I loved hating Tatiana! She was season 2's Carmen Carrera.....pretty but vapid!

Oh yes! Tyra wasn't the best but I was happy she won since she got prize money for her & her son.

Season two had an amazing cast. Jessica Wild! haha I love when RuPaul made them strip & sell gift cards on the streets haha

Shangela overall is "shabby". Shabby Shangela haha She was funny but it got annoying how she would beg for help then tell RuPaul that no one was wanting to help her.

It was kind of annoying that RuPaul kept bringing people back. Carmen went home for a reason you know? She's pretty & all but she got really boring. Raja, Yara, Alexis, Manila, & even Shangela were funny but Carmen not so much... at least to me. I hope RuPaul doesn't bring anyone back next time... unless it's Stacy hahaha (no but I loved how she made fun of Precious, I actually bought that movie just to see it because of the Snatch Game)

Stacy Layne Bryant Matthews Lattisaw Q was hilarious as MoNique! I'm glad she won the Snatch game! Even though I was not a Tatiana fan I thought her Britney Spears was spot on in season 2's Snatch Game.

Season 2's Snatch Game was better than Season 3's. Pandora Boxx was hysterical as Carol Channing too.

Stacy Layne was like "Precious! She better be making me something to eat!" haha I'm glad she won! For me it was a reason for Delta to shut up. Delta would complain about Stacy yet she was weak too! She was up for elimination a lot & she would cry every challenge! At least Stacy did the challenges without getting too much encouragement. Delta got babied by Raja like every challenge.

I thought season 2's Snatch Game was better too! I loved Yessica Wild as RuPaul!

oh Tatianna was funny snapping her gum and all clueless! I still think Tatianna was good competition but I guess since she never wore anything kind of out there like say Sonique or Morgan or even Mystique!! She just kind of wore woman's clothing.

Shangela was a terrible "Tinta Turnter" she was still acting like her self, saying "halleloo" and all. I loved Manila's impersonation of Shangela as Tina Turner!

I have no doubt that Delta Work can be a great performer, but she did nor bring it to the show. She spent more time bitching about how underappreciated she was than actually stepping up her game.

I forgot how funny Jessica Wild was as Rupaul. I still think Jessica Wild was booted out too early. I loved her during the Absolut ad challenge: "I love this drink", lol

I haven't watched season 1 yet; was that good too?

Oh that was my favorite! Jessica was like "oh i love dis drink!" She definitely went too early! They were even saying how they miss Jessica & no one was really cheering for Tatianna...well Raven wasn't but she said Jessica was doing too much but I thought it was funny!

Delta had the style, the talent, and the personality.. she just let her insecurities get the better of her! It sucked because I thought she would be the "big girl" to finally make it to the end!

Oh you have to see season 1! Compared to season three you can tell how much it has come along way. There were only 9 contestants on the 1st season. Now there was 13 on season 3! The first season was good but it was funny because the lighting on that show was crazy. They had bright ass lights that made everyone look blurry. If Manila was on that season you wouldn't be able to see the wig line! haha Of course there was a Puerto Rican drag queen on season 1 too haha

I thought Tatiana was easily the prettiest queen in Season 2, but just wasn't ready to be the next great Drag Superstar. Her outfits were kinda boring and just needed more practice.

I've tried watching an episode or two of Season 1, but the lighting just kills me. Everything is way too blurry. Still, if I go through Drag Race withdrawal at some point, at least I'll have those episodes to watch.

Sadly, I missed tonight's episode due to my PT job. I'll have to catch it tomorrow online.

They usually play it again on tuesday on Vh1.

Oh you live in Pennsylvania! I live in california so it's only 7:31pm right now. It comes on Vh1 at 9 usually.

I am so excited! I think Alexis is going home! What about you?

I missed Ru on Monday, so I watched it last night.

*SPOILERS*

That had to be the saddest thing I've ever seen in the show. I felt terrible for Yara; the pressure must have been horrendous for her.

I thought it was such an interesting contrast in the Untucked episode. Raja and Manilla were chilling, having a good time while Yara and Alexis were bitter-ass queens.

With Yara gone, I think that its Raja's game to loose.

Resurrecting this thread to say if you like RPDR, you should really check out Drag Race España. It’s the best season of Drag Race in years. I want a double crowning for Carmen and Killer Queen— can’t choose between them!
