Jungle Cruise discussion

I love the Jungle Cruise. It's so funny. The experience is definitely made better by competant and funny skippers, though. If I could work at any attraction at a Disney park, I'd want to be a Jungle Cruise skipper.

WDI currently working on Jungle Cruise.

Just wanted to let everyone know that WDI is currently working on the Jungle Cruise animated figures at night, which has been going on for about a week now. On top of that, a new JC script will be implemented in the next few months.

For those visiting next year, I would expect JC to be closed most of, if not all of 2010.
I'm going to miss the old jokes if they get rid of them. :( They better not make the script lame; it better be even funnier than before, if that's possible. Do NOT ruin Jungle Cruise, Disney! :headshake:
Just so you all know they are getting rid of Inspiration Falls to cut back on maintenance (this is what I heard im not making this up)
:( But I like seeing the backside of water.
Yea...that's not true. Inspiration Falls will still be there.
I don't know who to beleve...but I hope it's this person!
For those who have not experienced the World Famous Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom, the joke is that Inspiration Falls, a small babbling waterfall, "inspires you to go... deeper into the jungle."
The joke hasn't been removed, it's been rewritten.

It now says, "inspires you to travel deeper into the jungle". Because that's a pun and all. Honestly...sometimes I wonder about the people who write the scripts these days.
But the rewrite isn't funny. :(

Disney, you're breaking my heart. :(

I'm very fond of Jungle Cruise as well. It really is a very fun ride and I feel it's actually better than Animal Kingdom as a whole.

I'm also curious to see how the Jungle Cruise movie turns out (if they ever get around to completing it, that is).

This was one of my favorites when I went to Disneyland in 2019! As someone who loves a good pun, listening to the skippers is a lot of pun. I remember we went at night during the fireworks, and walked right on while everyone was occupied with the show. Having the jungle light up was pretty nifty.
