The Gilded Age on HBO and Max

Does anybody else watch this? It’s a new series by Downton Abbey creator, Julian Fellowes. It follows the lives of various people living in Gilded Age era New York. Season 2 just finished and Season 3 was officially announced, too.

I love the show. It is very similar to Downton Abbey, except the fashions are even more dreamy and the characters are more interesting. I really mean that— on DA, all the leads were essentially good people. In The Gilded Age, Fellowes isn’t afraid to show the dark side of rich people and that’s much the show so much more interesting. Carrie Coon as Bertha Russell is amazing!

Fun Disney Fact: Salli Richardson-Whitfield was the voice of Elisa Maza on Gargoyles and she has directed many episodes of The Gilded Age!
