Thanks for the clarification. And, yes, I meant universe not multiverse, but you understood my question. It's true; some of these returning characters could be new versions from a different universe and not the same ones we know.Sotiris wrote:Yes, he will be from a different universe than Tom Holland's Spider-Man. He'll come from Sam Raimi's universe. However, I don't think Electro will be from Marc Webb's universe because Jamie Foxx said he won't be blue in this film.
I wish they had made more movies with the original cast too. The young version of the cast is not bad, but I much prefer the original actors.Sotiris wrote:I also always wanted an X-Men 4 with the original cast. And no, Days of Future Past doesn't count.
As for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, I like the original trilogy, but I guess I'm not as big a fan of it as others. I much prefer the X-Men films, for example. I think I actually like Tom Holland's version of the superhero and Zendaya more than Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. However, though I've really enjoyed the last two films in the franchise, I think the stories of Sam Raimi's films were stronger in general and the tone was more epic. That version will probably always be seen as the definite film version of Spider-Man.
