I saw the pictures on UD's review and I have to say the colors on Alice look really "Ronald McDonald"! I wanted to compare to see if it's a true upgrade and if its worth buying. Thanks in advance

That is the Alice in Wonderland I recognize, and not that oversaturated mess on the Blu-Ray. I really hope they re-release this (on 4K?) with the new transfer being used on Google Play because I want to own this. Let's hope they do something similar with Cinderella because that is another film long overdue. I never expected they'd fix Alice so here's hoping.
We’re a dyad in the Force. Two that are one. "I offered you my hand once. You wanted to take it." - Kylo Ren "I did want to take your hand. Ben's hand." - Rey
I think the Alice in Google Play is the DVD master only in 1080p. Google Play also has the previous HD version of The Sword in the Stone, the one which is 1.33.

Yes, it does resemble the DVD although I'm not sure if it's 100% the same (just in HD) just from looking at it. That would be a pity if they never release this copy in any format beyond this.

That's the Blu-Ray transfer if I'm correct. Looks awful especially compared to those screenshots you posted. Alice in that bright blue dress and sunshine yellow hair especially sticks out.

I redeemed the film through digital code. The version Google Play/YouTube has is an upscaled version of the DVD (the one that comes with the Blu-ray, not the Gold Collection), the one Movies Anywhere has is the Blu-ray version.
Thank you- I had no idea that different versions played depending on which site you watch the digital copy on. Is it just me, or does the DVD/YouTube pic you posted above look clearer than the Blu-ray?
That might be because of the source cause that one I really did take from a YouTube video cause I can't take screenshots from Movies Anywhere. Also I have to reduce the pictures size in order to upload here.
