Fanmade-ish. Some Chinese company made it, and I watched it a while back.

Re: Zootopia
Thanks for posting! I loved that video. I know I said earlier that I was happy with Zootopia in CGI but now I wish it could have been in 2D animation.
...It started out as a spy movie... [The central character] was a jackrabbit a la James Bond... And his boss was a tiny mouse, kind of like Judi Dench. But I quickly abandoned the spy idea because everyone said the most interesting thing...is the first act where everyone's in this animal city all together...
Yes, Figge Norling is his name.DisneyFan97 wrote:in swedish Duke Weaselton is voiced by the guy who does the voice of Kuzco, He continued to do A LOT more voice acting after The Emperor's New Groove including Donnie in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Voice actor in Sweden, famous for many roles. Especially Kuzco.
His first voice acting job for Disney was an additional voice in Disney's The adventures of the Gummi Bears (in episode "Over the river and trough the trolls".
Some more roles:
Winston Deavor in The Incredibles 2
V.A Vandevere in Dumbo (2019)
Gavin in Pete's Dragon (2016)
Timmy in Winx Club season 3 and onward

Re: Zootopia
I love Ginny! I feel so out of touch with her since OUAT ended and I really hope Disney gives her some more projects besides Zootopia 2. I'd love to see her in Disney+ live-action features or have her voice more animated characters. Also I like her new hairstyle. Her pixie cut was cute at first but towards the later seasons of OUAT, I was amazed at how frumpy they dressed her and how badly her hair was styled.

Re: Zootopia
I had never heard of this Zootopia-esque (different kind of plot, but visuals reminiscent of Zootopia) canceled DreamWorks film until right now:

Me neither. The city looks a lot like Zootopia. Especially in that first image.blackcauldron85 wrote:I had never heard of this Zootopia-esque (different kind of plot, but visuals reminiscent of Zootopia) canceled DreamWorks film until right now:

Re: Zootopia
I'm surprised this film doesn't get talked much these days. I wonder if Disney will be reluctant to do a sequel now.

They’re probably waiting until the whole ACAB/protests stuff cools down before talking about it (or its sequel) again.farerb wrote:I'm surprised this film doesn't get talked much these days. I wonder if Disney will be reluctant to do a sequel now.

Re: Zootopia
I doubt the current protests would affect this much. I mean, it wasn't coming out soon anyway, it hasn't even been announced as in development. Besides, the first film dealt with those themes already--like implicit bias, government corruption, etc.--so it's not like they'll be afraid of touching them.
Listening to most often lately:
Ariana Grande ~ "we can't be friends (wait for your love)"
Ariana Grande ~ "imperfect for you"
Kacey Musgraves ~ "The Architect"

Re: Zootopia
I was listening to 538’s recent podcast episode and they said that the current BLM protests have really shifted people’s perception of police in the latest polls (they didn’t say, or I do not remember the numbers), but they also mentioned this could be an effect like when a mass shooting in the US temporarily swifts public opinion on gun control. So...
In any case, we all assumed a Zootopia 2 was in the cards based on the first film’s success, but if it really is in development, I could see Disney either pumping the brakes or substantially changing the story (like Blackfish led Pixar to move Finding Dory from an aquatic amusement park to an aquatic research center). Kind of crazy to imagine Disney leaving money on the table (especially with Zootopia expansions being built at the parks as we speak...) but a lot of criticism of Zootopia from black writers at its release is resurfacing now and it’s not looking good.
