Little help with Photoshop with Disney movies numbering

Post by DC Fan »

So, for the ones that followed my post of WHY DISNEY HASN´T RELEASED THESE TITLES IN SPAIN a part of the discussion was the numbering.

I have several Disney movies that don´t have the numbers in the spine (didn´t have them at their first release but later got fixed) and then there´s The Rescuers Down Under that just doesn´t have it...while the DVD does.

I said that I´ll get in contact with Disney to see what can be done...But I don´t think much will come off of it. And as for the already fixed titles I don´t have the money to invest in getting them all over again just for the numbering (since the first releases are better anyways) just to have a uniform collection.

So I´m asking if someone can help me by making the numbers so I could print and place on the BDs. I don´t have Photoshop and don´t know how to use it.

Here are the pictures:

Thanks in advance.

I read that when this numbering business first started in Europe, there were some releases that came with numbered stickers you could put on the spines yourself. I've been looking all over eBay for them, because my blu-rays come from the UK, and sometime around Frozen's release they changed the font/style of the number, and now the spines don't really match and that drives me insane.

This is how the sticker sheet supposedly looks like:

Yup, those sticker sheets were included the first year they started doing the numbered spines. I do believe there were separate ones for dvds and one for blurays, with the latter being smaller. I should still have them somewhere.

Oh wow. I was beginning to think they were a myth! On the off chance you still have them, would you consider selling them?

Sorry, DC Fan, I'm not that well-versed in Photoshop, not enough to have them match the originals anyway. Maybe you can check Fiverr out and find someone there to do it?

I don't own Photoshop, but if you have one put the image there, then use the tool "Magic Wand" - it selects pixels based on their color. Select everything around the numbers and delete them.
