Post by Sotiris »

Peter is going to Europe with his friends for summer vacation. The movie opens on July 05, 2019.

I gave Homecoming more of a pass because it was the first. The 2nd film will be where this new take on the character proves itself or not. Tom Holland will be great regardless, so at least it won't be a complete waste, but I'm hoping this takes a major step up.

Spiderman away from New York? Like that's gonna work out. And who cares considering they're probably only gonna be at the most mainstream holes in Europe. Eiffel Tower, once again...bah.

Wait... Peter is dead, right? I know he will be back, but they shouldn't announce this movie until after the next Avangers.

Sony still owns the film rights to Spider-Man, so I doubt they would be okay with Marvel killing off a character who just gave them an $880 million grossing blockbuster. Plus, the next Spider-Man movie opens next summer. Going to be hard to keep this movie under wraps.

I really hope they use a different formula this time.

The outfit reminds me of Thor mixed with Doctor Strange.

The teaser poster, the domestic teaser trailer, and the international teaser trailer have just been released! The way the Elementals are portrayed remind me of the Titans in Hercules.

The previous Spider-Man was all "been there, done that", and I found myself being bored. Maybe I will give this one a chance.

(Also heard that the Spider-Man issue with the debut of Hydro-Man is now available on ebay for a much higher prize than before the trialer)

I'm really only down for this property because of Holland's involvement, but Gyllenhaal at least adds something else to look forward to.

Zendaya was surprisingly okay in the first film. But I could see her flopping now that the role isn't just minimal lines in the background.

The movie looks good. I liked Spider-Man: Homecoming and I'm really looking forward to this sequel. By the way, it seems Nick Fury plays the role of Spider-Man's mentor this time instead of Iron Man.

The theatrical trailer has been released. Spoiler warning for those who haven't watched Avengers: Endgame yet.

Yeah, hearing that (ENDGAME SPOILERS) Iron Man died in the new Avengers film, I knew this film would be affected. I'm glad personally. I want Spider-Man to have his own plots unrelated to Iron Man.

The Far from Home trailer is being added to Avengers: Endgame as a post-credits scene, effective today.

If they introduce Gwen Stacy in an upcoming movie. I think Ariel Winter should play her. She needs new work now that Modern Family is ending.

She doesn't really look the part...Besides, Disney wants to do their "Spider-boy" material as different from previous movies as possible. So no Gwen for a few many years. Besides, nowadays it'd be seen "problematic" to adapt the Night Gwen Stacy Died, so they'll gonna force that "I'm MJ but not MJ" thing so badly...
