It's not just Tangled though. Disney Channel does this with almost every animated show of theirs. Long hiatuses and irregular programming has become their M.O. I don't understand the reasoning behind it either but there's a broader issue at play here.

So happy that this is back on! I think this has been the longest it's been on hiatus, right?

The Great Tree two-parter and the amnesia episode are the ones I'm most looking forward to. And Flynn's former fiancee is back, like I expected.

Those are the episodes that sound more interesting to me too. And also The Eye of Pincosta and the last one.

This was a cute episode to return with. Was it just me or did Maximus seem better-animated than in the past?

Yes, it was a nice episode. Regarding Maximus, I don't know, I didn't notice any difference, but it could be.

Wow, so Vigor is actually going to have some significance then. (I saw the last episode, btw, just didn't have many thoughts about it.)

I found the last two episodes enjoyable, but yes, there isn't much to discuss about them. Regarding Vigor, they hinted there was some secret about him at the end of his last episode, but I didn't imagine it would be that. It'll be interesting to know his story. Rapunzeltopia also sounds intriguing.

Cassandra is getting her own song called "Waiting in the Wings". Eden Espinosa has such a pretty voice!

Apart from Cassandra's song, there'll be a duet from Lance and Eugene in tomorrow's special episode. These are the two songs the episode has, according to director Tom Caulfield.

Loved this two-parter. Cassandra's song was alright. I wonder why Rapunzel didn't use the healing incantation on her hand? I like that Varian’s father was tied to the dark kingdom. Hector looks a lot like Varian to me…

I just realized I missed "Eye of Pincosta." I didn't know they aired two episodes last week. I'll have to catch it on YouTube then. What is even going to happen with this show once it's done? Will it go on Disney's streaming service or vanish entirely, because they don't rerun it at all--not even on DisneyJunior.

Here are Cassandra's song and a video from a music recording session for the Lance and Eugene duet, shared by Executive Producer Chris Sonnenburg.

Things are getting interesting again after this special episode. I liked that they gave some hints about the origin of the healing incantation song. I wonder if Mother Gothel can still appear in a future episode. Maybe in a flashback sequence? I also really liked Cassandra's song.

Disney's Divinity wrote:

I think that though her hair grew back, she can't use it to heal people like she did before.

I don't know, maybe they're saving the reruns for the streaming service and that's why they aren't doing it now.
