I knew this artwork looked familiar. It's the same one from Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice! Are they recycling concept art now too?

Eh, it could be a honest mistake. If not, no big deal. :) Might as well recycle. I find it funny that of all things not spoiled bc a lot are being suggested or leaked the last two days, it is the princesses' final comfort outfits. I only remember Ariel's, Cinderella's, Aurora's, Elsa's, and Moana's. I remember Tiana wearing a afro too.

And speaking of concept art

https://78.media.tumblr.com/d3dadc3d35c ... o4_540.jpg

And also, more theories of Yesss being the villain.

I doubt this, but this wouldn't actually be surprising and stranger things have happened. Look at the bottom pic with Vanellope and Yess:

https://78.media.tumblr.com/68b88d7fe84 ... o3_540.jpg

1) Yesss looks very very creepy and evil.
2) It's only Vanellope. There's no Ralph. Maybe the Princesses help her save him via Rich's announcement of more princess scenes and maybe the mystery chick does too?

And look at this pic:

https://78.media.tumblr.com/4318742303f ... o3_400.png

It's only Ralph, the colors are gray and dark, and it has thorns a la Sleeping Beauty and it looks like he's stuck in a maze. Could have Yess put him there?

My theory: Ralph is a gigantic success in BuzzTube, right? What if he's SO popular that he becomes even more popular than Yesss and she wants to keep him on the site forever.

Good Gosh, I think Disney just pulled a Frozen and leaked the whole movie in a week

Kind of looks like Sarah Silverman... So if I were to bet, I'd say it's either:
a) Vanellope's adult princess form
b) Vanellope's mother/relative
c) Vanellope's real-life avatar (think Quora from TRON: Legacy)

Those are some good guesses. Do video game characters even have parents? I suppose only if they're programmed with family as part of their backstory.

That's a good theory. We know Ralph wants to go back to his game so maybe Yesss wants to keep him online and enslave him so she can keep making money off of him.

To me, it looks like Ralph is lost in the...web! Literally!
I don't mind if they re-use some concept-arts especially since this one was only used on a cameo t-shirt in Prep and Landing, no big deal sure.
Clark Spencer himself said in an interview in Europe that there is no specific villain in the movie, except that Ralph is his own antagonist, which I also predict based on the very few I know but I might be wrong.
Yesss looks sure like a bad girl on some concepts but I would guess that Ralph will think she is bad because Vanellope is fine with internet thanks to Yesss. So maybe Ralph will spot her as an enemy because he can lose her friend "because" of her... That's my guess, we'll see. I still hope she's not a villain at the end.
I know only a little bit on the other female character but can't say. ;)
I think that's funny that they hide the new stuff not revealed yet also in the exhibited concept-arts at the Studio as images that are long to download. ^^

I will also add a note regarding this presentation: at the end, we had like a behind the scenes of the Princesses scene, showing Mark Henn drawing, and animating a test of Ariel from that scene, and speaking by webcam with many of the original voices, each in a screen square, so we could see a mosaic of them all interacting at the same time. I noticed that in the image of Mark Henn, he showed behind him a large screen with shots of each single princess / heroine timeline from their own respective movie including Esmeralda, Meg, Jane and Kida. Sometimes those four were lighted on, sometimes they were lighted off. I won't say they will be featured in the final movie, I guess not, but that was intriguing and I thought they were, at least, considered and not forgotten them...

I hope the pencil test of Ariel will be released to the public in some form. Unfortunately, pencil tests aren't part of the bonus features on home video nowadays.

Interesting that Esmeralda, Meg, Jane and Kida were considered to be included. Maybe they were planning a meta joke that was ultimately scrapped. This was noticed by another person who attended the Annecy presentation.

Quote:
We were able to discover some animation (including one on Ariel) and we were told that the challenge was to capture the essence of each princess, including those that were not in 3D originally. This work was assisted by Mark Henn - animator for Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Young Simba in The Lion King. On one of the videos where we see him at work, we saw Kida and Megara...will they be present in the film?

That makes sense but doesn't Ralph have a crush on her? How can he both like her and resent her for "stealing" his friend at the same time?

Here's a gallery with all the artwork from the movie on display at WDAS: http://moviebill.com/stories/ralph-brea ... ction-art/

Could the mysterious female character be a human? I mean, a character from the real world like Mr. Litwak? Her clothes and appearance look very casual, she doesn't look like a video game or Internet character:

Good memory! It looked familiar to me too, but I couldn't remember where I had seen it before.

Yes, that was clever.

I can't imagine Disney dares to make her the "bad guy" in the actual political climate then.

You're right, I hadn't thought of that. But I'm still not sure she's not the villain, she looks quite suspicious in some of these concepts.

Thank you D82 for the link!

My question is I know that KnowsMore is easily adaptable in any plot, but how are they juggling the Save Sugar Rush plot and teaming up with Yesss to save the game while dealing with the pancake bunny game, the possible usage of Social Media, the cell phones, the OhMyDisney site and the princesses, the mystery girl, God for some reason if that is God lol, the maze or whatever Ralph is in WHILE they have the sub-plot with Felix, Calhoun, and the Sugar Rush kids? They are stuffing a LOT of eggs in a 90-minute basket.

EDIT: Apparently, the color keys are the next WiR trailer coming out this month

I would be surprised if the color keys shown are the next trailer.
It looks more like the color keys of the first act of the movie to me.
At the Annecy presentation, we barely saw the first act in clips and animation tests.
But the next trailer will probably features most of the first act because it's ready and the animation of the overall movie is ending those days, so everything is not wrapped yet and I guess they still want to hide some things for the moment.
Sadly, all the spoilers will be out with books as usual, one or two months before the US release and I always thought it's dumb and not respectful for the people who work hard on the movie...
Well, my theories on Yesss are only mine and on this movie, I don't know much.
I know a few things but it's still mysterious to me in many ways.
As for the Princesses scene, I hope they will release online the behind-the-scenes clip we saw.
The animation test of Ariel by Mark Henn is great by evidence.
The fact we saw Esmeralda, Meg, Jane and Kida doesn't prove anything but I was intriguing anyway. All the heroines / princesses were on a screen behind Henn while we saw him interacting with the original princesses voices by video conferences, each in a mosaic square. So, the square with Henn was little, and the panel with the heroines behind even smaller but I noticed the four I mentioned and noted that a moment those four where lighted off / hidden from the rest. That's all in fact.

Perhaps these four will be in the movie but are being kept secret since I'm sure the filmmakers don't want everything revealed in a trailer. It would help if we got confirmation that one or more of the voice actresses (Demi Moore, Susan Egan, Minnie Driver, Cree Summer) has been in the studio lately. At the same time, I'm not sure how interested Demi Moore and Minnie Driver would be, considering they're both popular mainstream actresses.

Actually, I think it's Aurora who's missing. Cinderella is the blonde in blue.

Tiana has naturally poofy hair, we just never saw it in her film because it was always in a bun/in a ponytail.

See this concept art for example.

Though admittedly in this frame, Tiana looks like the daughter (Tip) from DreamWorks' "Home".

I would love to see the princesses, but I'm dying for Felix/Calhoun/Sugar Rush family (which I'm assumed it is b/c there has been ZERO mentions of them) and the mystery chick.

There's so much pandering and fanservice with the Disney princesses, it's nauceating. This is yet another idea taken from fan art. And of course, they aren't just wearing modern clothing but the specific kind with the logos and catchphrases the Disney Store sells. Is this movie even about Ralph and Vanellope? Like 95% of this movie's promotion so far have been the princesses.

Clindor wrote:

Cinderella's there; those missing are Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, and Merida.

Warm Regards wrote:

That's not concept art; it's fan art by David Gilson (aka Prince Kido).
