Untitled Kevin Deters & Stevie Wermers Film

Post by Sotiris »

Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (directors of How to Hook Up Your Home Theater, The Ballad of Nessie, and The Prep & Landing shorts) are working on a feature film at WDAS.

Oh, great. Another film we have to wait for information for. And it would be revealed once Giants is announced. :P

I'm calling it right now... CGI.

Yep, I can already see myself not supporting this movie before I even know anything about what it's supposed to be. Cause I'll always be against Disney's practice of abandoning hand-drawn to do CGI no matter what.

Also, I didn't bother reading any of Jennifer Lee's deceptive lies in that interview about how good Frozen is for Disney when I already know why it's not.

Really, don't even comment if it's the same thing over and over, again.

Well maybe if the people of the Walt Disney Animation Studio would get out of their hopeless delusion that they belong in the world of CGI and bring back their true form of animation, then maybe I wouldn't shoot down every new animated feature that they're preparing to make.

I'll be amazed (and excited) if this project is announced as hand-drawn.

I hope female directors will become more common at Disney the next few years.

Do we even know that it's still happening? This was reported, 3 years ago. Anything could have changed.

I sure hope so, it would be a very refreshing thought especially after Jennifer Lee's contributions to Frozen.
