Miller died in Napa, California, the result of injuries sustained in a fall. The statement didn't say what day she died and said funeral services will be private.

I don't think this was expected at all given what given what I quoted from the article.

Her family will be in my prayers.

Very sad news.

I was just thinking about what the Disney family has been up to since the time the Disney bros. passed on, and now that no Disney blood is actively involved with the company.

This is kind of selfish of me for wondering, but I am curious if she shot an opening for The Jungle Book's upcoming release. Miss Disney Miller did these for the films Walt was responsible for that were a part of the Diamond collection, always at the Disney Family Museum she ran, and since this is the last animated film Walt was a part of the production for, it would be perfect if she already had one taped.

We prayed for Diane and her family at Mass today. She was a great lady keeping her father's legacy alive among those who wish to diminish or ignore Walt the man.

According to Floyd Norman on his blog, she did record material for the new Jungle Book Blu-Ray.
