That was definitely the best trailer yet and the animation looks so great, but I must say I'm not impressed by any song so far.

Epic trailer!

And can I say, forget Let it Go . . . I want to hear the rest of For the First Time in Forever!

(just kidding . . . I want to hear them both)

Did that trailer really just happen?

:jawdrop:

Now THAT is a movie I want to see. They may be going a bit overboard with throwing The Lion King in there, but I'll take it. If only they had treated Tangled with this much respect.

For the First Time in Forever sounds like a great classic "I want" song from Disney with Anna and Elsa together in counterpoint.

Yes Patrick, that trailer DID happen and it's pure legit.

Really liked how the song played over the dramatic events towards the end of the trailer.

I LOVED the trailer. I wanted to cry and scream like a little girl. For the first time in forever sounds AWESOME, Idina acting as Elsa is WONDERFUL, so the animation is. Did anyone Else noticed Elsa singing parts of Let It Go while FTFTIF was sounding. You can hear "Don't let them in don't let them see" and "Be the good girl you always have to be". Amazing, I still can't believe Disney did this. Let's see how the marketing goes after this wonder.

I think this trailer was made to pander to those kids who grew up with Disney in the 90's. And when they pander they know their older fan based will melt into a puddle of excitement and nostalgia.

Some of my friends saw the other trailers and they actually didn't think Frozen was going to be a good movie. Hopefully, seeing this they will.

So the tumblr fandom is now complaining about the whole Lion King thing....

The tumblr fandom are a bunch of whiny b*tches who are going to see this movie regardless of their complaining. Why else are they spending all their free time online discussing a movie they apparently don't like?

They're attention seekers. Can we please ignore them? Disney has every right use The Lion King in their ads. PIXAR is still pimping out Toy Story so I see no reason why Disney can't do the same. They've proven themselves these last three years to be every bit as capable as PIXAR...

That's certainly more "girly musical trailer" than anything Tangled put out. I told you all not to worry.

It looks so dramatic :o

That trailer was wonderful. I guess Disney is more confident about Frozen than they were about Tangled. (That one article back in 2010 about how Disney would stop making fairy tales comes to mind.) But because Tangled was a hit...

Incidentally, I found these images on Tumblr. The Hans/ Anna duet, if I'm not mistaken.

Tristy wrote:WOW!! Now THAT--That was a proper Disney musical trailer! Seriously I mean they still had the comedy in there but they actually showed the story in a way that was more epic and didn't shy away from the serious bits! In other words... It is like an actual trailer Disney released in the 90s!

My thoughts exactly. :D

Bravo new Disney, bravo. :) :)
Was surprised with how quickly this newest one came around. I was sure to have not seen it until the trailer pack for Thor 2. That is how you sell a musical! Mind still blown. If only Mark Elliot had never retired from voice-overs, his signature voice would've been the only way this already perfect piece could've been better.

Here's the video source for those images. You can listen to Hans singing (albeit in Czech).

That small snippet with the music, as someone else said (sorry, can't recall your name :embarrassed: ), does have a "Hairspray" vibe.

But hey, we're going to hear Hans sing, so it's not a deal breaker.

Ha! Kristoff is so adorable! I can see a little Jonathan Groff in him :) I also like Idina's voice acting. Hans looks badass, also I like how in the dungeon you can see his cold breath. I'm not to sure about the song, it's kind of a little rough....
