I really like the way she looks. Now they just need to give her a new pose!
@ DC Fan: I saw a 2013 Princess calendar that included Jasmine but she was only in a big group picture the other 7 all had their own month. I think Disney should do January and December as the big group picture and then include all the ten princesses giving them each their own month but what do I know?
The more I see of this, the more I wonder how long it's going to last. I really don't see this being much of a permanent thing. I understand updating their costumes in the parks. But all this clip art really just is not doing any of them any justice. It looks like crap imo. Hoping this is a phase.
I dont think it will stick either; updating park costumes is fine; this clip art though is a mess, just like most of the clip art they release is. Remember the awful gold dresses and bling we had one year?
I don't understand all the negativity. Compared to some of the previous clip-art, they managed to make them look classy and stylish, and some of them look beyond gorgeous (Cinderella, Mulan, Ariel). And they all look like grown women now and not girls. Jasmine's face is a bit thinner than it should be and Aurora's hairstyle leaves a lot to be desired, but everything else is great. What they need now is less sequins and they'd be perfect.
I don't think "updating" the costumes in the parks is ok. The parks are where the real characters from the films are supposed to be, looking how they do in the movies kids watch and want to mee the characters from.

They aren't drastic overhauls though, just tweaks. Do you find them that awful Duster?
Also, I don't know if I missed your comments, but what did you think about Jennifer Hale singing for Cinderella in Sophia the First?
I love how they continue to put the ethnic princesses in the back.
I wish Enigmawing was still around to make an awesome illustration of the princesses riding a bus with Tiana, Pocahontas, Mulan and Jasmine in the back... or standing.
And YES, I get that they're more or less ranked by popularity. Before someone attacks me with the obvious. It just looks so insensitive.
No they aren't that big changes, but its the principle of the thing, we should feel like we're seeing the characters as they looked in the movies, how the characters really look.
I am fine with Jennifer Hale singing for Cinderella, she was great in Sofia the First! I won't keep up with the show but the movie was fine for what it was.
