Well, unless I'm wrong, video game tie-ins of movies are downright mediocre 99.99% of the time.

the screens are designed to prevent eyestrain moreso than tvs and pcs.

Jedi, i've found a few decent tie-in games before.

I dunno man . . . I mean, remember back when people thought watching 90 minutes of cartoons non-stop would hurt the eyes? Video game graphics must be just as bad on the big screen. Blasphemy, I tell ya!

I still wonder if Fixit Felix will become a villian or an ally during the movie. It wouldn't be that far fetched because remember since Mario was a villian Donkey Kong Jr it would be a shout out to that game.

Although I hope that maybe they could make Fexit Felix later switches sides when he decides there are lines that he won't cross.

I'm getting a mix between Quasimodo and Willie the Giant vibe. Should be interesting.

I have to admit that I liked the old 8-bit logo better (though this one isn't bad)

I've enlarged it a bit to get a closer look:

Here are some larger versions of the "new" logo (although I think this a previous version of it and it won't replace the existing logo)

I think Disney this year might have a movie that could grab the nomination for Best Animated movie.I just have high hopes for this movie because of the fact it seems that Disney is getting its mojo back . :)

Hey,it might not be 2D animated but it seems they are putting more heart and story into their computer generated movies. From what I heard its going to be Toy Story with video games.I think Ralph will be such a sweetheart that it will hard for anyone to see him as a villian.

Although I'm not fond of the character designs, I find them appropriate for the world the characters inhabit and for this type of story/concept.

I have high expectations for this film. It needs to be for video games what Toy Story was for toys.

I've been looking forward to this film eagerly since it was greenlit; as much as I enjoyed The Princess and the Frog and Tangled, it's always nice to see Disney try their hand at an original story every once in a while and hopefully this one can have a similar impact to Lilo & Stitch. I like the image of Ralph; it's probably no coincidence that he resembles John C. Reilly a little bit. Hopefully we'll get a good trailer in the next few months to give us a better of idea of what we can expect when the film is released but it's definitely one I have high hopes for.

I also have some Shrek vibes coming from Ralph as well.Although in my mind he would be a nicer version of Shrek.

Another thing I want to comment is that what was the movie about when it was Joe Jump and Reboot Ralph.I espically want to know what the movie's premise was when it was Joe Jump because that one seems to imply it was following the Mario formula.

That's funny, he doesn't look like a bad guy. And yeah, I wonder if Fix It Felix is the next Disney Villain.

Now that you've mentioned it, he does resemble him.

Fix-It Felix could turn out to be the villain.

That's what I'm thinking. I loved what they did with Mother Gothel in Tangled, where the villain that was passive aggressive and ultimately psycho. I'd love to see what they do with the concept of someone who is super nice until they don't get what they want. I've known a number of people like that.
