Is that movie poster of Disney and Pixar's, "Brave," from B&B Theatres? Because I recognized the logo of, "Coming Soon," at my local theatre, and I have B&B Theatres in my neighborhood.

Oh my GOD that poster is insanely gorgeous. I have movie posters all over my bedroom walls, and that real estate is very limited.....now I'm looking at which one is gonna have to come down to make room for this! XD

Her hands are too small to belong to a person!
Dear Disney Enthusiasts,
Thank you for the comparison, Sotiris.
I think that in the movie still, Merida's hands look as though they're far too small to belong to a person; in other words, her hands aren't truly to-scale with the rest of her body! Those super small hands just make her look freaky to me!
I sort of like the final look of her hair, though, and I think that her dress looks as though it'll be sort of cool. I don't like her name much, but, oh, well.
All in all, I personally think that she just looks weird, because she just doesn't look like "a Disney princess". Her hands look way more normal in the concept art of her; I'm glad that her dress looks fairly cool in the movie still, and I'm sort of glad that her face seems to display an air of spiritedness.
I'm hoping that she'll have a cool Scottish accent, and that she'll be even more independent than Rapunzel! If the newest Disney heroines are going to be Feminists, they'd better rescue their men, and they'd better do everything with sassy style!
Thank you in advance for your replies.

This poster put me in the mood, so I did a quick sketch of Merida. (Click on the image to see it bigger on my blog)

No problem, and nicely done drawing! I'm still kinda scared to attempt drawing her myself until we get some better looks at her, lol. I hadn't seen your blog yet so I'm glad I have a link now.SWillie! wrote:Thanks enigmawing

Nope. It's a Showcase Cinemas recently purchased by Rave Cinemas. There are many remnants of the Showcase still left, and I'm not sure which it actually belongs to.Polizzi wrote:Is that movie poster of Disney and Pixar's, "Brave," from B&B Theatres?
