I won't be getting any of the Princess Collection because I think it's not worth to be spend on.
I prefer to save my money on other DVD's that are worth it.
Princess Collection are for girls or young teen females.
Not for me.

The hell? Little girls need to worry about being beautiful? How about just being children? How about just being *themselves*? There's a difference between "make-believe" and making a kid feel like they *should* be more like someone else... y'know?

Thanks Disney, for encouraging low self-esteem and superficiality at a very young age!

This princess crap makes me puke.

So the Ariel and Jasmine segments will be from the old TV series, and the Cinderella and Belle ones are new? Oh, if there's new Belle segments then I have to buy this  . I didn't want to, but if it's new B&tB material...

I assumed the Belle segment would be Mrs. Potts' Party, or something from "Magical World". I told myself that if this was true, I wouldn't get it. The only way I would buy it was if the Belle segment was Sing me a Story (haven't seen it in years-really want it on DVD).

Noticed two things: they've used the old "Princess Collection" logo, and Mulan has been added to the sexy six. Guess she needed that DTV to earn her spot.

Sexy six?? Actually, there are seven (eight, counting with Mulan):
1 - Snow White
2 - Cinderella
3 - Aurora
4 - Ariel
5 - Belle
6 - Jasmine
7 - Pocahontas
8 - Mulan

Well, the only thing that I would be curious to see is that "all-new musical number". :P

I didn't know Mulan was a princess? Next thing you know Disney is going to start calling Kimpossible a Disney Princess. Why isn't there a Black Disney Princess?

What? Christy "Pocahontas" Turlington doesn't top the Sexy Six list?

Image

Actually, this would make a great gameof Survivor, where we'd gather 15 of the Disney ladies and then decide who's the tops!

I know, but recently Pocahontas was added to the mix, and then Mulan.

So I guess that makes them the ______ Eight.

The real Pocahontas was 13 years old. The Disney Pocahontas is in her twenties.

That's who I was talking about-Pocahontas hasn't been a part of all the pink, air-brushed merchandise. I just assumed that Mulan has been added because of that banner at the top...

I cannot wait for this movie to make it's debut! :D The party one seems very worthless. The only one i am interested in is "Gifts from the heart", it seems really good. Will they use old cartoons for the movies, or will they create new stories for each Princess, seeing that not all of them have had a cartoon? :?

this quote (from the top of this page) shows that some old and some new will be on the dvd. "treasure chest of beloved stories starring Ariel and Jasmine, and two new stories featuring Belle and Cinderella."

I guess Black girls are not worthy enough to be accepted into the Disney Princess country club. What, do they think a token Black member would disturb them by playing load music or something like that. Maybe they think a black member would steal there stuff. They could at least admit a mulatto into there country club. How did Mulan become a member she isn't even a princess.

Then I suggest you think of a storyline for a Disney movie with a black princess, write a script, send it to Disney, and stop your immature whining. And please learn some grammar while you're at it.

Well, Pocahontas is not black, but she is not white either. :)
We could have had a black Disney heroine if they had gone ahead and produced the animated version of "Aïda".
