Thanks, Luke! Those Tomorrowland and On the Front Lines menus in particular look really neato.

I see they fixed the problem that was on the Goofy tin - on Donald, you can play all the toons together.

Wow! Thank you Luke! The pictures make me even more excited for Mickey Mouse In Living Color II! I'm glad they put alphabetical listings so its easier to find a certain one you're looking for. How come some of the shorts have a separate menu? Disney on the Front Lines has a section called "From the Vault." Weren't they all from the vault?

I agree that the "Tomorrowland" set has the coolest menus. As for "The Love Bug" sequels, is it confirmed that all of them are widescreen? The menus appear to be enhanced for 16x9 TV sets. It wouldn't make sense to have the menus widescreen and not the actual films.
I'm currently watching and reviewing every Disney film in chronological order. You can follow along at my blog, The Disney Films, and also follow me on Twitter.

Maybe it doesn't make sense, but Disney does it all the time. Only "Herbie Rides Again" will be widescreen, according to Disney.

OK... OK...
ehem... Those pictures above with stills of the menus of the Treasures are simply SO INCREDIBLY AWESOME that my excitement grows even more, after the loooong wait for this set. Can't wait to have 'em all in May. Specially, ON THE FRONT LINES. The shorts and the Bonus Features are probably gonna become my favorite dvd set among all that I have from Disney.

CAn't wait!!!

Ditto. The one thing I hated about the Wave 2 Treasures was having to drop down & hit play every 7-8 minutes. When I sit back to watch I like to hit "play all" & watch all the shorts. Very happy to see the return of "play all".

I shoud point out the Aussie box set of all 4 Herbie movies has them all except one (Bananas in OAR). Just in case anyone is interested. (Oh, and welcome to the forum, whotony!!!!)

As for the Treasures menus...

SO COOL! I especially like the angel/devil Donald, and the Frontlines menus are pretty spiffy. I like the way they've split the shorts into 3 main segments, but retained a playall feature. I also find it amusing that one of them is called "Propaganda AND Entertainment". Hee hee hee...

Even more interesting is that Der Feuhrer's Face, Education for Death and Reason and Emotion are listed as "From the Vault" and not "Propaganda". I guess they were just too subtle :P :D

And it looks as though the Sorceror's Apprentice deleted footage will be on MMILC2, so UK buyers won't have to rebuy MMILC1 just to get it.

I have these all on priority shipping preorder at Amazon, but I think that will be worth every penny. I think the only dilemma will be which to watch first.

Actually, the Sorcerer's Aprentice deleted animation is on the Fantasia Anthology DVD already, so no big deal.

The menus look great, and I can't wait for the moment I'll hold these beauties in my hands.

Three cheers to Leonard Maltin!!! :D

I am looking forward to wave 3 Treasures coming out!!!! Alas, I don't think I can spend that much money if I add the Herbie movies to boot

I'm glad you can afford "priority shipping" Loomis ! - hee hee..... I have my Treasures order on Expedited shipping.

Anyway, I have had 2 treasures on pre-order (On the Front Lines and MMILC2) since September and now have decided I'd also like to get the Cronological Donald as well if possible in the same order. There doesn't appear to be any option to be able to 'add' to my order. I seem to be able to only 'delete' from the order.. Anyone know if possible and how to do ?... I did notice that when I changed my shipping method, that it changed the delivery dates from December to May. I guess I will just have to place a separate order for Donald if necessary, but was hoping to combine and save on shipping costs.

Happy Easter everyone - and it's just now a little over 5 weeks until the vault doors are opened with the treasures !!

I can't really :)

Actually, it only worked out at about $15 US more, and it is peace of mind really.

And it is a little splurge followed by an extended period of non-spending.
