Well, the top post was less than a month ago (and was quite sad too - an interview with yourself!!! No better than Remus holdinig a poll about his own false departure).

And they aren't personl reviews! You had to change the title to "Presents..." because we caught you out (cutting and pasting) the first time round!

And the others were simply to show that you do talk about yourself a fair bit. The issue is not when, but how much.

The fact that you are still posting in this very thread about yourself (Look at me! I have DVDs!) shows it is still going. Therefore, a very current trend. All I did was show it was not simply a one off on the part of Mickey"Look at me" Mouse Boy!
A) actually it was an interview between me and netty. Netty was aware of it. And I thought it would be fun to make fun of Britney Spears crying on public TV. It was suppose to be something fun for everyone to enjoy it's sad that you didn't take it that way.
B) Presents reviews were copy and pasted and I put a link to the site i took it from and you can ask Luke. I didn't get caught by anyone :)
C) So... the other threads other members make about posting DVD collections are look at me threads?
D) You for the thread I made about you! :D That wasnt about me, It was about the Fury woodland creature called Loomis, whose turn evil now! I'm making one about Netty :)
E) You're bitter about something. Do you want to talk about it? :)

dvd collection.

Post by orestes. »

I don't know if this has been done before but I'm always interested in seeing other people's DVD collections because it sometimes reminds me of a movie I want to see and, well overall I just like looking at them.

My list is in my signature. I like the site that I have my list at. I've seen a better site but that site just drove me insane since you could put dvds in the order of purchase and I cna't remember that and it just makes me crazy. Anyways there it is.

Anyone else want to share theirs or just avert our attention to your link in your signature? :)

We did have a thread (maybe a few) on this subject before, but in searching for it, I didn't seem to find it. Obviously, its been a while, so its nice to revisit everyone's collections anyway.

The link to mine is in my sig!

here's 3 of those possible threads: <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... 4371">Post a photo of your DISNEY DVD Collection!!</a> ,
<a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... 4478">Post your Disney and Non-Disney DVD collection!</a> ,
and the one that has the same answers as can you ever be too rich, too thin, or too Lohan??? :P

See my signature below for my (now outdated) DVD listings in both animation and live action.

As soon as I can get my computer set up and ISP changed (I'm currently on an Internet Kiosk at the mo), I will make a radical update to these listings.

Yes, it's 30 bucks to put out your entire collection online. In the free version you can already add all your dvds, but only 50 of them show on your personal page. For the 30 dollar you buy the registration link, and that's it. No additional payments or anything.

Thank you for getting back to me.

I guess for the RICH DVD collector, that's a good investment.

Mine's at http://ryeguy5282.dvdaf.com/, but not all of my collection is there. This is the majority of it, though.

Well, the collector who has about 300 dvds (or more) probably has the 30 dollars for the registration as well :). There are free alternatives too, of course. Or you can just add all your titles in the Profiler, and pay for it when it's best for you.

Laz, I would say that DVD Profiler is worth the $30 (man, I should have grabbed it when it was $25!)

I haven't actually used the pay version, as they used to have a fully-functional free version that just limited the size of the pics and had an ad bar in it. I loved using it, but then they switched to a new free version that was completely crippled if you had more than 50 DVDs entered in it, plus it didn't work on my ancient Win 98 SE operating system.

From what I understand, the new version is pretty good, and like I said, I loved the old version.

I believe the $30 is a lifetime fee. If you buy it now, you get the new versions forever, without ever having to pay to upgrade.

One of the nice features of this software is the great reports. You can have everything from a basic printable title list to a 1 or 2-page report for each movie with hi-res cover art, cast and crew info, and more to use in a coffee-table book in your media room.

You can find all movies in your collection with a certain actor, see what you paid for your total collection compared to the MSRP (if you entered the purchase data,) find the percentages of genres, years, or studios in your collection, and so on.
