Parodies today do that all the time. Apparently, death is funny now. That must be why Saw is so popular.

Disaster Movie...Jesus!

That's three parody movies we get in 2008 (Meet the Spartans and Superhero Movie were released at the end of the year).

I haven't seen the trailer, but I know what to expect; scene after scene mocking a popular, recent movie, infused with unfunny comedic timing and talent, and throwing in every possible Internet fad/meme in the process, hoping people will laugh it.

I shall avoid this like the plague. They just don't know how to make funny parody movies anymore.

I just watched the trailer three times, and I laughed all three times at the "Enchanted" reference. I thought it was really funny because it's so true.

That costume is awesome! (But the sleeves could be bigger. Tissue paper could fix that however.)

Too bad it's online only and not at the actual stores.

Oh,maybe they sell it on actual stores too?.
Oh,and I found this beautiful Giselle and Robert pin:
Image
Isn't that beautiful? the other Princesses have these kind of pins too,the series has:
Aurora and Phillip.
Cinderella and Prince Charming.
Snow White and The Prince.
Ariel and Eric.
Belle and Prince Adama.
Giselle and Robert.
Maybe there's other Princesses.
I really want to buy a Giselle merchandise,I really want something in her pink dress-what's better,an ornament or a plush? or a doll is always better? or a pin?.

I think it's supposed to be her dream (You know, where she first met Robert and after she woked up she made the statue).

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but since I've never heard about it, and I've never seen it discussed here before, did you guys know about Narissa's deleted song, "Nobody Gets in My Way"?
The film gets very contemporary as it builds to a grand, fantasy finale, with Giselle even going shopping in Manhattan.

Alan: There was a lot of discussion about that sequence. At one point, we wrote a Queen Narissa song. We wanted to maybe have Narissa enter with a song called 'Nobody Gets in My Way.'
Source: LA Times.com (Nov. 7, 2007)

That's pretty interesting, and I'm very curious about how it would have worked out.

Giselle being marketed as a Princess is complete bollocks. She would have only been a Princess if she married Edward, which she didn't. Robert is a divorce lawyer not a Prince, so getting with him doesn't make her a Princess either.

The only Princess in Enchanted is Nancy, because she, unlike Giselle, did marry Edward. Where's my Nancy merchandise? I want a doll of her stat!

It's the same thing with Mulan who is only included in the line so that little asian girls have a princess of their own. Pocahontas is somewhat acceptable since she is the daughter of the chief, which would be kinda like being the daughter of a King. But still, she is only in the line so little aboriginal girls have a Princess and I'd be willing to bet my left nut that the only reason "Princess" Tiana was made a black girl was so little black girls have a Princess of their own too. The Princess and the Frog isn't being made for art, it's being made to sell more Princess dolls and crap like that.

The Disney Princess line of mostly cheap merchandise has polluted the legacy of the classic characters just as much as any cheapquel has yet nobody seems to be up in arms over it like they are over the DTV movies.

It just makes me mad.

I'm done ranting now. Continue to discuss the Fashion Designer (Not Princess) Giselle and her movie.

That is all.
