Comic-Con Programing, Tips

Post by Marianne81 »

Will anyone else be attending the Comic-Con in July? I am eagerly anticiptaing the possible programming (movie, tv previews, etc.) and there are a few things I will really hope will be there.

1.) A Preview for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
I've missed previous Potter previews, and hope there is one this year.

2.) A Panel, Discussion and preview of Season 2 of Pushing Daisies. This is my favorite show and would LOVE to see the cast in person.

3.) A Panel, Discussion, or anything on BBC's TV Show Robin Hood.
I am so obsessed with this show right now and BBC america is about half way through season 2. Unfortunatelty the finale was spoiled for me. For those who know what happens I am very sad and confused about it. But, I still love the show.

My question to the comic-con experts out there:

Are these legitimate programming possibilities? I know something on Robin Hood is probably wishful thinking, but I can hope can't I?

Also, I always wondered if there are any tips for getting into lines to ask questions at panels. People are so fast, and it seems hopeless to try.

Feedback is much appreciated :)

There are several Comic Cons across the country. I assume you are talking about the biggest, San Diego?

I don't believe any of them are on the schedule. I can't wait for my toy exclusives though. A Giganta and a Lobo. Kewl.

I can't wait for the panel - Dan Didio or Joe Queseda - who will run their company into the ground quicker. Didio currently has quite a lead.

Here is a copy of last year's schedule to give you a flavour. The first two are certainly possible. Keep watching their web site for a schdule. Saturday and 4 day tickets are already sold out. But you probably want to know if your events are on first. It has been a complete sell out the last two years.

Yes I mean the San Diego comic-con. I should have been more specific. I already bought a four day ticket, so there's no worries there. This will actually be my fourth year in a row going, but I still feel like a novice when it comes to certain things.

I'll keep checking the website for programming schedule. Thouugh I am getting a little impatient

Yeah but last year they put out the schedule early and then all the studios started backing out what they had committed too and Fox totally cancelled its presence.

Want to pick me up a Giganta and Lobo? How about Pals?
