New Toy Story Ride

This summer, they're going to be opening the new Toy Story ride at Disney's California Adventure. I am dissappointed that it replaced some of the eateries I liked to eat at in DCA. Still, I'm so looking forward to it!

It sounds like it's going to be good.

It really only replaced one eatier as Dips and Chips just moved over to the formerly shuttered Farmer's Market. And Concina Cucamonga has Burritos anyway.

I had to vote for "No, not really" because that's closer to how I feel. I've posted about this elsewhere, but I just don't find the project very promising. It looks like an unnecessary rehash of something we already have (a <i>Toy Story</i> laser tag ride -- which is okay but not an E-ticket in my book). I am looking forward to checking it out for myself, though, and hope that I'm wrong.

i'm looking forward to it as far as a new ride goes, but i really hope we see more than just pixar in the parks. it's like.. everything new they do is a tye-in to nemo or the other pixar films. it's getting stale. hopefully this ride will change my mind of that fact.

I'm also looking forward to Toy Story Mania which will be another Buzz Lightyear ride clone. But that doesn't really bother me just glad it's a competition ride.
Toy Story Mania will also be a 3-D ride!!!

I had to vote that I'm not really looking forward to this new ride. It sounds too much like the Space Ranger Spin ride, but I'll give it a shot when it opens and hopefully will be pleasantly surprised.

Anyone know when the Toy Story Mania will open. Will it be open by September. I'm planning to go to Disneyland in mid-September and hopefully Toy Story Mania will be open by then.
