Damn, because of ever changing technology I am constantly having to update my collection. Now a lot of the classic Disney films are coming to Blu Ray?? That's exciting but costly....

Thanks for sharing lighthousemike!!!
I doubt Disney is really going to release all those DACs on BlueRay before the format war is over. Are there actually enought people who'd buy it on BlueRay now? Or maybe the preview is for the next 10 years

I really think blu-ray is gonna win, but it is rather expensive just like dvd's were when they first came out. I would definately buy all of those. Especially Aladdin.

Sweet thanks!

I can't wait for this dvd! I also can't wait for Disney to switch over to HD-DVD side and start releasing in that format.

I agree. I wonder what kind of schedule they're on to release the Blu-Ray discs? I mean, I can understand "Sleeping Beauty" getting a Blu-Ray disc along with the normal DVD of its Platinum Edition. But TLM just came out...will the Blu-Ray come out soon?

I'm excited for "Cars" to come out- I love that movie and can't wait to see it again! And, I can't wait to see "Mater and the Ghostlight"- I think Mater is my favorite Pixar character.

Thank's for the Pixar's Cars news and pictures. Can't wait for Robin Hood: Most Wanted Edition, Gummi Bears Volume 1, DuckTales Volume 2 and Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers Volume 2!!!!

Nope I'm not going to buy Blu-Ray Disney DVD's....because all the DVD's can play on Blu-Ray and HD-DVD so what's the point in double dipping...probably buy a Blu-Ray player and that's it....unless Disney forces us to only buy Blu-Ray Disc and not DVD's...

First, note that in that list , it did no say "Coming soon the Disney Blu-Ray", but "Coming to Disney Blu-Ray", which makes me think that there's still quite a wait until these are unearthed.

Secondly, how come the THX-Certificate has suddenly decided to pop up again onto Disney DVDs!?

Lighthousemike gets them earlier because he has a friend that works where they make the Disney DVD's...he just pays his friend money to get them.

His friend is a DVD supplier, not DVD manufacturer. Since they ship these babies some weeks before they street, I'd assume that the friend owns a store and sells them to Mike ahead of schedule.

Thanks, lighthousemike, for posting this. One of my favorite Pixar films, in the worst presentation that Disney can give. Seriously, this one makes me so mad! I know I'll end up buying it, because I love the film so much, but, I still can't understand why Disney couldn't have done it right, the first time. Actually, I do. It's all about the money.

Anyway, as much as I would love to have these films in Hi-Def, I'm not going to upgrade, especially not now. In fact, I don't even want to support Sony, anymore, so I'm hoping Disney will also start releasing films on HD-DVD. If not, I'll just stick with DVD.

Also, can you post how long the bonus feature, Inspiration for Cars, is? Thanks!

Seriousley..Im not to thrilled about the blu-ray DAC's releases...I mean I just started my Disney DVD collection a year ago and I have 27 of the 45 Classics. I'll probably only buy my favroite titles on blu-ray..which surprisingly are Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and a couple others.
