Although I prefer real "classic" material, I do have fond memories of a number of Disney's animated TV shows, including this one. Complete season sets or similar would be a requirement for me to consider buying, though.

Woohoo! I really hope this does indeed end up happening. I'm surprised they aren't doing TLM instead, given the tie-in opportunity, but I prefer Gummi Bears so I'm all :D

The Gummi Bears DVD set & Rescue Rangers Vol. 2 and Duck

Post by disneyfella »

Is it true that there will be a boxed set for the Gummi Bears? I heard that it will be released on November 14th! Also of note, is that there will be volume 2 boxed sets of Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers AND Ducktales!! All on the same day!!!

November 14th seems to be a packed day for DVDs.

Anyway, I was suprised I hadn't seen anything here about it....maybe I've completely missed the boat on this one, but on good authority it is supposed to be legit.

Yay! More Disney TV coming to DVD! I'm surprised that they aren't releasing this on a separate day to the other sets of DuckTales and Rescue Rangers, but I guess that they're trying to tie in with them all. I reclon that they should release Gummi Bears with either The Wuzzles of Winnie the Pooh, considering they're all cute little animal things with lots of cute adventures, but I guess that Chip n Dale and Huey, Dewey and Louie cute all be deemed cute.

They were right about Darkwing Duck, Talespin and the others after all! I'm pretty sure they're also right this time. :D

I loved the Gummi Bears when I was a little girl. Haven't seen them for 13 or 14 years though.

I think that whenever the Wuzzles comes out they should add on the Fluppy Dogs special as a bonus feature. :D

Not a big Gummi Bears fan. Why are they even called Gummi? You can't eat them. Can you?

I loved this show! I dunno if I'll buy Season 1 though; I'm presently running out of space for DVDs and my favorite character, Gusto, doesn't show up until Season 2.

Yay! Out of all the Disney Afternoon television series, this is the one I remember the least! I don't think I saw many episodes when I was a kid. I can't wait to get this b/c it will be like seeing it brand new! I downloaded the first episode and I was happy with the animation and story. It looked like the cousin of The Black Cauldron though. Now THAT would've made a terriffic cartoon series!

I think they were based on the candy/fruit snack b/c they were all colorful and they can bounce and make Gummi Berry juice. I don't think they are edible. That'd be terrible! They're more like Teddy Bears like Pooh than actual Gummi Bears.
