BURBANK, Calif., April 12, 2006 – Walt Disney Home Entertainment presents THE SUITE LIFE OF
ZACK & CODY Volume 1, on DVD July 18, 2006. Zack and Cody are 11 year old identical twins and
the newest residents of Boston’s swanky Tipton Hotel. Living in a suite with their mom Carey, the boys
treat the Tipton like their own personal playground, often taking new friends London and Maddie along
for the ride as they cause mischief, mayhem, and various hysterical catastrophes in their elegant new
digs. THE SUITE LIFE OF ZACK & CODY Volume 1 stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song,
Ashley Tisdale, Phill Lewis, Kim Rhodes, and features guest stars Jesse McCartney and Zac Efron
(“High School Musical”).

Among the comical adventures in Volume 1, Cody and his new girlfriend Gwen try out for the leads in
their school’s Shakespeare play. Cody is cast as a tree while Zack gets the starring role, a part that
requires him to kiss the co-star, Gwen. Cody and Agnes team up to keep Zack and Gwen from
becoming an item. Also, when Jesse McCartney stays at the Tipton, Zack, Maddie, and London figure
out outrageous ways to sneak into his room. When London becomes enamored with a really smart kid,
she enlists Maddie’s help to pass herself off as a scholar. Cody becomes fed up with Zack’s sloppy
housekeeping and moves into the entry closet, which he customizes into a funny bachelor pad, and
there’s much more.

Bonus Features
• Never Before Seen Episode
• Hanging With Cole and Dylan, with guest star Jesse McCartney

Too bad they didn't include episode titles in this. Still, it sounds like there's at least one that I haven't seen aside from the exciting never-before-seen episode (which will surely air just after, it not before, the DVD's release). The Jesse McCartney episode is a good one, and the part I've seen of the Zac Efron one wasn't bad either. Perhaps not the best episodes, but a decent offering and one with strong marketing prospects.

I think I'll pick this up with Raven's Makeover Madness at Best Buy, mainly because of the great 2 for $20 deal.

Nice review, Luke. I don't know if I'll be getting this DVD though. I've seen most of the included episodes enough times and I'm sure the bonus feature one will play on TV soon enough. It's sad that Disney hasn't been putting their popular shows on season sets except for Lizzie McGuire. For now, I'm fine with catching reruns and new episodes which are quickly rerun if you miss it. I just hope we get Phil of the Future soon now that it's been cancelled :( . Speaking of which, I don't know why but everytime PotF is coming on TV, the announcer says it's an all new show. Kind of ironic since it's been around for more than a year and it's "new episodes" are just new b/c they haven't been shown yet.

HAHA! I was just about to write this! They REALLY need a haircut! It's actually putting me off of the show. It's just really weird looking. Either way, I still think that without Zack and Cody this show would be stronger. I love Maddie/London's characters! They make the show for me. Zack and Cody are just annoying.
We need season sets of all DCOSs and all DCOMs on DVD! And Better Cover Art!
