As I posted somewhere else, if you are too impatient to wait for the US release and have a multi-region player, the same box-set is coming out in Australia on the 29th October (a month earlier?).

Inigo: I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?

If that's the final design for the outer case shell, I really like it... I'm not disappointed at all!!

Heh...hopefully you will be getting something extra because that it a lot of clams for 2 films.
Ours only seems to be $54.95 - if you don't have a calculator handy, I can tell you: MUCH cheaper.

No you misunderstand. We have a 2 disc 2 film set
X-Men 1 / X-Men 2 (X2) Box Set (2 Discs) (movie discs only)
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... tle=130566
and a 4 disc set
X-Men 1.5 / X-Men 2 (X2) Collector's Box Set (4 Discs including all supplements)
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... tle=130567
both sets, of course, are only released in Widescreen (why have it any other way?)
in addition to the Ultimate Collector' Edition of X2!
No Image Available
Obviously the Ultimate Collector's Edition will contain lots of junk (sorry, collectables) and the like. Exact specifications are not known yet, but being as the RRP is £99.99 (or around $155) I expect it to be something special.

Sadly the £99 (or approx $160) Ultimate Collector's Edition has been cancelled.
I wonder what they were planning of putting into it? Perhaps a slabbed copy of Giant-Sized X-Men!
