Didn't the UK Release...pass? (just wondering)

I finally saw a commercial with the 2-Disc DVD release! They showed the Meeko & Percy fight!

Can't wait for Tuesday! :D

This discussion would probably be a lot better in an existing <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/sea ... ahontas</a> thread, and with less smilies. And it is 3 days in the US. :)

It's been out in the UK for some time.
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

Yes. Pocahontas was released in the UK at the end of March. It was completely overshadowed by the releases of "The Incredibles" and "Bambi"

I don't think it was really overshadowed by Bambi or the Incredibles, I believe the main problem was that Disney just didn't even try with it!

They did not advertise it at all! No TV commercials, no leaflets in DVDs, not one DVD had a Pocahontas trailer. It was shockingly treated!

So they treated it like a Studio Ghibli film.

I dont get what went on with Pocahontas here in the UK, i mean they totally snubbed a film loved by many which had 2 disks full of extras. But then Dumbo a 1 disc which had already been released before had some decent coverage. :?
