But August 13th is the last day to ride Ellen's Energy Adventure (being replaced by a Guardians of the Galaxy ride) and The Great Movie Ride (being replaced by Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway).

The reveal at D23 of the Mickey/Minnie ride (I watched it on Youtube) was one of the things I got most excited about from D23, but it failed to mention that The Great Movie Ride is closing. I'm going to miss that ride (and any hope of The Great Muppet Movie Ride). But I'm glad that Mickey and Minnie will be getting a ride.

There are more negative comments online on different sites & forums than positive. Disney will have designated places in the hotels where the dogs are allowed, so that should make it easier for people with allergies, or who are concerned about the barking. I am thrilled about this- I haven't stayed at too many WDW hotels, since I've lived in Central FL during most visits, but when I lived out of state, I stayed at La Quinta Inn because dogs were not allowed at WDW hotels. I think it's a great idea.

I think it makes sense actually considering most of the film takes place in a jungle setting with a focus on the animals, especially birds.
