I chose Scar, with Captain Hook as a very close second.

Chernabog_Rocks wrote:Chernabog :D Although Monstro is pretty scary in Pinocchio, Chernabog is the first villain I was actually scared of, I used to have this huuuuge poster will all the villains on it when I was little and I remember having to cover him up since at night the moon light would shine on the poster at the top where he was and it was very creepy
Was that by any chance the poster with all the villains emerging from the Black Cauldron? Chernabog was right at the top, sort of framing the piece.

And I know what you mean; I'll never forget the absolute terror I felt when I first saw him on the screen. I've never seen Fantasia in the cinema, but I'd really, really like to!

Big Bad Wolf gets my vote, due to his everlasting trademark of wolf in sheep clothing and his song doesn't give him the respect that he deserves.

B.B.W is the orignal "master of disguise", possesses a fair degree of innate guile. The fact that he always fails to achieve his goal is due entirely to B.B.Wolf's own overpowering greed.

Another good pair of male villains that I'd vote for is, Honest John (Foulfellow) and Gidon. arguably not evil, they are without a doubt unscrupulous, living as confidence tricksters and not being too fussy about how low they stoop to get a quick buck. The animation of these villains are down right pure genius, such creativity in the performances of those streetrats. Too bad we won't see the likes of B.B.W, Honest John/Gidon in modern animations.

I'm surprised I'm the first one to vote for Frollo. He is obviously the most sinister, out for nothing more than to rid the world of terrorizers and gypsies. He is the best Disney villain or them all, with Chernabog at a very very very very very close second. He just thrills and chills. You get this weird tinkily feeling whenever he appears on screen. He is obviously the most frightening of all the Disney villains.

I voted other because Alameda Slim in Home On The Range is my favourite.
