Trying to Compile a List of International Exclusives

I need your help putting together a list of movies (and DVD editions) that are only available outside of the US.

Here's what I have so far:

http://www.ultimatedisney.com/international.html

This doesn't include things which will be released here shortly like Sleeping Beauty and the Witch Mountain movies. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of stuff - hopefully you folks abroad can help me out.

Thanks.

Hi Luke

In Region 2 UK there is also a widescreen version of Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 35-9487608
or
http://www.playserver5.com/play247.asp? ... tle=105563

PS. I like the new layout a lot. You're doing an excellent job!

Which Silly Symphony short film is on the French Peter Pan: 2-Disc Collector's Edition?

I couldn't figure it out because I did a rough translation from a French DVD Review site:

Its something that has Pan in the title. 2099net did a review of the french 2-disc Peter Pan in the main forum if you look for that thread then you'll find out.

I think that is a mistake, being as the Australian Honey We Shrunk Ourselves is coded R2/R4 and is full frame.

Playful Pan. Note: It was originally B/W but has been colorised for the DVD release

Magical World Of Winnie The Pooh - Vol. 1 - All For One And One For All
Magical World Of Winnie The Pooh - Vol. 3 - It's Playtime With Pooh
Magical World Of Winnie The Pooh - Vol. 4 - A Great Day Of Discovery

Don't know what's up with vol 2 missing :)

Winnie The Pooh - It's Your Birthday (vol 2 perhaps?)

So Dear To My Heart
Walt Disney's Favourite Christmas Stories - this is listed on a couple of e-tailers as unavailable. May not have been released.

Thanks, all. Only ones I still have to add are the three "Everybody Loves" discs.

I couldn't find the It's Your Birthday Pooh DVD at Amazon, 2099net, but I added all the rest. Thanks!

It could be a mistake, I don't know yet.
But I've just ordered it from play.com and I'll tell you all about it next week.

Ooh! Great idea! I was hoping you'd do something like this, Luke...
The only thing I might add is for the R4 Herbie ox art, it is different to the upcoming UK art.
A small jpeg can be found here:
http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/223454

Other things coming up here that might be exclusive:
- It's Your Birthday Party with Winnie the Pooh (Sep 17)
- Winnie the Pooh: Halloween Double Feature (Oct 17) *Just announced - might be the same as the Spookable Pooh one that is out in the US/coming in the UK

Both will presumably contain episodes from the The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh TV series.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.
Great list though!

Thanks, Loomis! Is the Birthday Party Pooh DVD only in Australia? Or maybe Amazon.co.uk just hasn't put it up yet.

I've just found out that Blank Check is widescreen in R2/UK.
Though there it's called "Blank Cheque".

Thanks. That's a good find. I'm still holding hope that Tom and Huck and Man of the House will be widescreen when they're finally released there!

2099net, you were right! It's really only fullframe and not 16:9.

By the way, concerning R1 now:
Luke, you write that Whispers An Elephant's tale is 1.85:1 widescreen. However the case claims that the film is in fullscreen.
So is this another case of mislabeled case, just like That Darn Cat?
Or is perhaps the re-release from 6-3-2003 fullscreen? :?

Same case as Jungle 2 Jungle and That Darn Cat -> case says Fullscreen, DVD is actually non-anamorphic widescreen.
