I have just watched the latest video from "Midway To Main Street", which talks about how bingo saved the boardwalk games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK3fBTyzCDo.
According to the video, boardwalk games are considered something like gambling, which is really what they are, and as such, they were considered legal once. My question is, if they were considered illegal, what else would there be for people to do on the boardwalks? Not everyone could do rides, after all, and they cost money, too.
