In no order beyond alphabetical, and the films (or occasional TV Shows) I mention are my favorites and not necessarily their best work.

Top 10 Favorite Male Actors:
1. Christian Bale (Empire of the Sun, American Psycho, The Dark Knight)
2. Humphrey Bogart (Casablanca, Sabrina, The Caine Mutiny)
3. Montgomery Clift (The Heiress, A Place in the Sun, The Misfits)

9. Tyrone Power (Son of Fury: The Story of Benjamin Blake, Nightmare Alley, The Sun Also Rises)
10. David Tennant ("Doctor Who", "Blackpool", Casanova)

Top 10 Favorite Female Actors:
1. Lucille Ball ("I Love Lucy", Too Many Girls, Five Came Back)

9. Susan Sarandon (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Thelma and Louise, The Client)
10. Gene Tierney (Laura, Leave Her to Heaven, The Mating Season)

Albert

I don't like differentiating between "actor" and "actress" since both are doing the same thing: acting. It's just as sexist as "headmaster" and "headmistress". And we certainly don't say "Doctor" and "Doctoress" or anything like that. So I always just say "actor".

03. William H Macy (The Cooler, Pleasentville, Wag the Dog)
04. Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Benny and June, What's Eating Gilbert Grape - Note: No Pirate films!)
05. Mark Gatiss/Steve Pemberton/Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen[TV] - cheating having 3, but really they can play anyone... or anything)
06. Michael Gambon (Joe's Palace[TV], The Singing Detective[TV], Toys)
07. Ewan McGregor (Big Fish, ER [TV - guest star], Moulin Rouge!)
08. Steve Coogan (Various Alan Partridge projects [Radio/TV], 24 Hour Party People, Around the World in 80 Days)

You know, its when going over the actresses, I see how little work decent actresses can get (especially a funny one), just look at the male to female ratio on most movie cast lists on IMDB. What a shame on our society.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Count me in as well.

I honestly don't understand why people crap on that movie so much. It was a CUTE and corny love story, the kind that warms your heart.

And come on! Am I the ONLY one that thinks that Kidman and Ferrell were cute together?
