Daffy Duck actually has serveral personnas. Lazario seems to prefer the early Daffy, where as I prefer the later greedy/bumbling Daffy.
However, my absolute favourite characters are Cool Cat and The Minah Bird.

On the Warner Bros. site my name is TAZ4You, so you can guess who my favorite character is. The Tazmanian Devil for many different reasons, just is one of those unforgettable characters that grace the Warner Bros. cartoons.
My second favorite is Sylvester the Cat because he is always plotting and trying to make things better by getting rid of the little yellow bird, Tweety.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Tazmanian Devil. He's awesome. I was always in awe as a kid by his spinning tornado, and I've loved him ever since! I also love Bugs Bunny. He's my second choice... I just love his interaction with Daffy and I love watching him make Daffy a moron! I'm also a fan of Lola Bunny, despite her not being made of "classic" material. Runner ups would be: Speedy Gonzalas, Foghorn Leghorn and Marvin the Martian (and his dog ).

It might seem cliche, my favorite character was the breadwinner of the studio and probably the funniest straight man ever: Bugs Bunny. No cartoon character, even Homer Simpson, could consistently make funny material into classic hilarity.
I mean this character made Space Jam fun to watch.

I think looney toons sets volumes 1-3 has the best quality. However, the prices are high like $60 and I didn't buy those sets either.kbehm29 wrote:On a different note, which is the best quality and value DVD offered with Looney Tunes character shorts? I don't own any yet.
Anyways, my favorite Looney Toons character is Daffy Duck, followed by Sylvester the Cat and Speedy Gonzales.

DAFFY DUCK!!!! by a mile!
What can I say? I LOVE the underdogs! To be honest, Daffy may be my favorite cartoon character ever! Maybe even more than Donald! Ducks just have a casual tendency of being funny. I especially love Daffy whether he is trying to better than Bugs, or whether he is just a complete moron, he's always entertaining. I especially like the shorts where his feathers get blown off, which is probably like all of them!
That's probably why I loved "Loony Tunes: Back in Action" so much. It was actually a Daffy Duck movie!

My fondness for westerns probably makes Yosemite Sam one of my all time favourites. However, I also liked to see the character placed in the different settings: as a pirate, a Confederate soldier etc. It really gets to the heart of my sense of humour: a completely anachronistic character that often loses his temper. For example, how can you not laugh at a rooting tooting pirate?
But I say, I say ah I also like Foghorn Leghorn a great deal. Maybe I only like characters from the South?
I also really liked the pairing of Sam Sheepdog and Ralph Wolf when I was a lad.
