ok im watching hocus pocus on my laptop computer right now and i noticed the volume is very low on this movie but its fine when i watch it on my ps2

i have the volume on my laptop on full blast but its still very low i have the same problem with my oliver and company dvd too so i was wondering if i upgraded my interactual player will it improve the volume and is the upgrade free

You're using Interactual to play DVDs? Do you have WinDVD or PowerDVD they would be better.

But reguarding your questions, you can upgrade, but that probably wouldn't fix your problem. To fix that, double click your volume control, it should look somewhat like the image below (with out my tacky drawing of course :D).

Just slide the volume up for "Wave/MP3" and that should do the job.

im sorry but that doesnt help its still too low

oh any whenever i try to upgrade the interactual player it says an instanbce of it is already running

what does that mean

I have no clue, but you can type CTRL+ALT+DEL to see if it's running.
I used to have Interactual, but it shut down in the middle of my movies. :evil:
So I use CLIPREX now...so far it's okay.

I'm not quite sure what "instanbce of it is already running" means, you may have to shut Interactual Player down. It may mean it's running in the background or something.

As for the sound, do you have the same problem with MP3s or Audio CDs? If not you could try installing this to see if it improves (remember to check the volumeis up). It's a demo though.
