Hi, chick588, and welcome to the forums. The Disney Movie Club forum is only for questions/answers/discussion about the club itself.

Threads for Disney movies/DVDs go in the General Discussion forum.

Something like this that doesn't apply to a Disney movie would go to the Off-Topic forum.

Thanks- hope you enjoy UD! :)

I wasn't exactly little when it came out, LOL!

But I'm interested in getting the DVD. It's more Disney than some of the stuff that Disney has been churning out these days.

And I think Richard Rich is cool. 8)

I still remember several years ago when Sizzlers was having the promotion for The Swan Princess and were selling the plushies for however much. Ah... I went to Sizzlers with my family once and I reaaally wanted a plushie but all they had was the one of that frog so I was like "Nah, forget it. >>"
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I like them. There are quite a few of the movies now though. I think that there is a total of three Swan Princess movies now. I like the animation. And Jaun Bob is so cute

Swan Princess aspect ratio

Post by Flanger-Hanger »

I'm sure most people on thse forms know about the 1994 Richard Rich animated film, The Swan Princess

I'm also sure many of you know that the region 1 DVD is fullscreen but the region 2 is widescreen (1.78:1)

I was wondering whether or not the film was made in academy ratio and then matted, because I'm considering buying the film on DVD (it's just to good not to :D ) and I wanted to know if I'm gaining, or losing 25% of the picture.

I love this film! It's a great fairy tale movie with wonderful animation and grand music.

But, alas, I have no idea on its original aspect ratio. Sorry.
:pan: Love It.

I know of someone you could order them from, but I'll need to be on my original computer for that. Besides, it seems like you're looking for freebies.

The Swan Princess itself is a wonderful movie. I need to re-find that wallpaper a friend made in memory of my favorite relative. It's a Rogers wallpaper.
