Yesterday I finally bought The Complete First Season (as it wasn't available yet in Holland). Watched the first season a year ago and sorta enjoyed it. Hope to re-watch the season on dvd later this year and then hope I won't have to wait another year before The Second Season will be released over here.

I enjoyed last night's episode. They seem to have a more "serious" tone than usual. I guess they're trying to make the show's storylines more consistent. I'm glad they finally referenced the fact that Quinn lived with Mercedes way back then (btw, where does she live now...?). "Somewhere" was beautiful and I'm glad Menzel will be on the show for several episodes.

Loved the Santana line about the posters. "This is less gay. In the original poster, the unicorn was riding you." rotfl

In the very last episode of the first season, Quinn's mother came to their competition and everything was resolved then. Since then she's been back at home.

I too enjoyed last night's episode. Sue boils my blood but I am glad the plot with her is captivating!

I'm excited to see drama between Blaine and Kurt.

I wonder if Sue's campaign will be negatively affected from that time when she punched that governor's wife in the face on stage?

Just kidding, I'm sure no one will ever bring it up.

This weeks episode had some really lovely Kurt moments. More please! I wish that we'll see more of Santana soon, she hasn't had too much screen-time yet.

I dunno. They hired a team to help make the characters/storylines more consistent over the summer. So far, I think that one could come back to bite Sue. I never expected them to reference Tina's roleplay as a vampire again.

I really loved the Mercedes storyline tonight, although that Dreamgirls skit was kind of horrible. I keep wondering who Kurt is closer to--Rachel or Mercedes? He kind of shifts back and forth.

I haven't really been crazy about any of the music this season, thus far. I'm surprised, because they've been doing more musical stuff. Still, I enjoyed "Spotlight."

I enjoyed last night's episode more than the previous two episodes. I generally liked all of the songs (with my favorites being "Fix You" and "Out Here On My Own") and I thought the storylines were pretty good (even if the Rachel-Mercedes thing has been done multiple times). I wish we could have seen more Idina, though. I hope she doesn't go to waste since she's only supposed to be on for like 10 or so episodes.

I'm totally on Mercedes's side. I loved "It's All Over" and the Beyonce song. "Cool" is my least favorite song in West Side Story but I really liked Glee's rendition.

It's a JHud song, but I liked it, too; the performance definitely made it better than just hearing the audio. I think I'd rank the songs like this:

Fix You - Amazeballs! Matt should sing much more than he gets to.
Out Here On My Own - Is there nothing that Lea and Amber can sing?
Run The World (Girls) - HeMo and Naya sounded great, and it fit perfectly with Brittany's storyline.
Spotlight - Amber sounds great, as usual.
It's All Over - Not my favorite, though everyone (except Chris) sounded good. I only wish Amber would have reprised "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" to tie it in with the show/film.
Cool - It was a great first solo, but I've never liked West Side Story, and I've never cared much for this song.

Again, I overall liked the songs and the episode. Here's hoping the next episode (we have to wait till November 1st :() will be just as good.

Oh, I meant the "Run the World" song. Isn't that by Beyonce?

I'm not really feeling the Mercedes bit. It's getting really tiring seeing her diva out, it was boring last season for me, it's boring this season.

Brittany and Santana were great as usual in 'Run the World' which was probably my favorite song from the episode.

Mercedes is really, really starting to bug me. Her diva tantrums are annoying, and she really has nothing to complain about.

I wouldn't call it a tantrum, I just think she's fed-up with always playing second fiddle in a club that should showcase more than one person. Considering she's put up with it for 2 years now, I think it was deserved. Too bad we know the other glee club won't succeed, and she'll be back; it would be a fun storyline.

Anyway, I know some people on other forums were speculating that Mercedes is possibly pregnant. Besides the fact that she's been throwing up, they keep comparing her to Effie from Dreamgirls. Effie was pregnant during the "It's All Over" scene. I think the idea would be interesting, especially if Quinn helps her out in return for Mercedes being there during her pregnancy.

^ Mercedes isn't pregnant; Amber tweeted that Mercedes wasn't, and I would totally find the tweet but I can't for some reason.

I didn’t post last week, but the last episode was okay. I thought the new, Irish guy was good--his first song was the only music I liked from that episode (though that second thing he did was horrendous).

Tonight’s episode, on the other hand, was this season’s best so far, imo. I loved all the music, except for perhaps “America,” and Lea Michele pushed her voice to new heights (if that’s even possible).
