I'm so glad you posted that. Bewitched is one of my favorite TV series, but I only ever bought the first four seasons (thankfully, the first two in B&W). I hadn't heard about this set, but I can't wait to pick it up!

Wow. I remember the days when Season One alone was over 100 bucks. Of course my copies where in the $25-$60 era of prices but still.

I remember the way S1 was released. It was a terrible way to release it. Interestingly enough, this is actually the third (standalone) version of S1. After the big box for S1 and the slim box for S2, they improved the set even more for the complete series collection, and when they reissued the season in standard-sized DVD cases with slipcovers and new artwork, they used the complete series set version of S1 for that issue. Among the improvements were a digital restoration of the pilot and further restoration and remastering for the episodes.

Ironically, the source of this thread's title--Murder, She Wrote: The Complete Series (all 12 seasons, but not the TV movies). In future, I might also buy the TV movies set and the Margaret Rutherford as Jane Marple Murder film set.

Also, I bought the 2009 Masterpiece Classic version of Emma. Easily my favorite version of the book that I've seen and I'd like to have it for myself (whereas I saw most other versions through Netflix). And I got the 3D/Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital/Music version of The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition and the Target Digibook version. And a couple of weeks ago, I bought Inuyasha: The Final Act Sets 1 and 2 as well.

I had planned to buy Mama's Family: The Complete Series, but it's ridiculously, outrageously, unreasonably overpriced at a $325 (I guess Vicki Lawrence took a page out of Carol Burnett's book on how to suck money out of fans).
