Does anyone have "labyrinth" on BLU RAY?? (1986)

Post by Marce82 »

Ok, this is gonna seem weird. But none of the dvd releases has the spanish dub of the movie.

If anyone has the blu ray, could you upload or send me any little chunk of the dialogue in spanish? (any section where Sarah or Jareth talk would be preferable...)

I wanna make sure its the original dub...

Thanks in advance!

I have both the Blu-ray version and the Deluxe DVD version of this great film. As far as I can tell it is the same Spanish language track on both.

Am a computer nerd and wouldn't know how to download things like you are asking, and I don't have a Blu-ray player in my computer.

Hope this answers your question.

Wow wow wow....according to Amazon, none of the DVDs have a spanish dub!!! You mean to tell me at least one of them does??

Can you tell me which edition of Labyrinth you have? According to Amazon, these are the ones released so far:

1) Anniversary edition
2) Superbit Edition
3) Collector's edition boxed set
4) there is a barebones 1999 release that doesnt have a specific title.

Which one do you have? Are you sure it has a spanish dub??

None of the US DVD releases have a Spanish dub. The Blu-ray however does have a Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 dub.

Mais en fait, je crois que "Marce82" est peut-être hispanophone, et il préférerait donc regarder les films en espagnol. Il y a tant de gens dont la langue maternelle n'est pas l'anglais...

And the reason I wrote that in French was to help enforce my point. :) If push comes to shove, there's always Google Translate. ;)

Hey Wonderlicious,

THanks for your comment. I had it translated.

Yes, I grew up in spanish, and Labyrinth is a movie very dear to my heart, mainly for nostalgic reasons. Since I grew up watching it in spanish, it would make it worth getting if the dub is included...

Labyrinth spanish dub (mexico)

Post by Marce82 »

Hey everyone,

The 1986 movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie, has gotten several dubs over the years, two made in Mexico, two made in Argentina. I noticed that the MEXICAN first release dvd has a spanish dub, and the one released in the US doesn't. Does anyone own this? Do you guys know what dub version it has? If you own it, but dont know, I can help you figure it out...

Here is the link to that Mexican release:

Thanks for the help!
